Default Some good ranger elites

Ok, well to start, I have the 3 staple B's as I call them, they are of course, barrage (with splinter), burning arrow (apply poison ftw) , and broad head arrow. Now these are of course good, but they grow tiresome.

I was thinking about capping glass arrows, as the ranger dps posts said that was pretty useful, any other ones? Perhaps Prepared shot, or Incediary Arrows?

Cripshot? I've always had a liking to that skill. More useful in PvP than PvE though.

You may want Melandru's Resilience as well, from time to time. Its better for Warriors in my opinion, but its nice to have it.

Ok, well I capped glass arrows, and I really am liking the dps from it, especially with needling shot, forked arrow ect.

Well I need to get into ROT to get prepared but I certainly will get it.

Why poison arrows?

Also how good is rampage as one, doesn't seem all that good, just an IAS for your pet.

It's a speed boost and IAS for both you and your pet.

poison arrow combined with barbed arrows can result in a lot of degen as long as your enemies are fleshy. (in big mobs and lots of tabbing this can out DPS burning arrow).

rao is warrior for dummies with alright pressure and such but generally not so useful for pve and gets boring fast..

[card]Glass Arrows[/card] probably one of my favourite elites! Combine with high powered attacks and you have a winner.

[card]Heal As One[/card] useful for spear chuckers with pets. Usually used in hero battles, I use it for general PvE and PvP.

[card]Escape[/card] always a useful utility.

I like prepared shot on heroes, they tend to burn through their energy a lot, and who needs Broad Head if you can just drop a maelstrom on a nasty boss?

Burning Arrow
Broad Head Arrow
Crippling Shot
Poison Arrow
Barrage
Glass Arrows
Melandru's Arrows
Melandru's Shot
Prepared Shot
Punishing Shot
Quick Shot
Spike Trap
Smoke Trap
Practiced Stance
Enraged Lunge
Ferocious Strike
Heal as One
Rampage as One

are all good elites
Ranger probably has the highest variaty of good viable elites to choose from, which is part of what makes it the most versatile class in gw...
psst if you're looking at secondary professions too here are some nice elites for ranger primaries:

Fevered Dreams(condition spreader)
Echo(trapper)
Backbreaker
Devastating Hammer
Dragon Slash
(non RaO trapper, especially good in PvE when you get Never Rampage Alone anyway)
Earthshaker(AoE KD and dmg while tanking with Lightning Reflexes)
Offering of Blood(toucher lol)
and the list goes on...

I prefer those when I'm running a thumper. [skill]hammer bash[/skill] satisfies my knockdown requirements.
