I got mine when he was holding it, the 8th run.
The run is something you need to get used to, after the first 2 times it is extremely easy. The fight itself is very easy as a warrior, Rajazan deals no dmg at all with his sword.
Just be careful with the disrupting Chop, as it screws up your healing signet.

This is the Build I used:
W/X
Charge!, Sprint, Dolyak Signet, Tiger's Stance, Riposite, Galrath/Silverwing Slash, Bonetti (to cover the healing signet) and Healing Signet.
10+1 Strength, 12+1+3 Swordsmanship, 11+1 Tactics.

And now I got this nice sword

I was wondering about the looks of the sword. In Guildwiki it looks like a beautiful broadsword, but whenever I see him using a sword its a big fat black one. Does that mean that he's not carrying Rajazan's Fervor and I should not kill him then? I've never seen him use the shiny broadsword before. Does he have 2 swords?

One last question, if he's carrying a staff, can he change to a sword halfway?

He changes to the sword if you get close enough to him, also his staff does a lot more dmg then his sword.

And yes, he uses 2 swords, he dropped the greenie for me when he was holding it, but I don't think that has anything to do with it.

Just wanted to point out that Cultist Milthuran's very nice blood staff is also farmable with a modified version my all-ranger Rajazan build. You can find Milthuran just outside the Autrios Mines.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...rans_Staff.jpg

The modifications:

13 Expertise
13 Wilderness Survival
9 Marksmanship

Elswyth's Longbow

Seeking Arrows is replaced with Flame Trap.

Initial reconnaissance:
Basically just speed through Milthuran and is cronies. See if he has the staff by noticing if you get hit with green orbs of dark damage. (It's not 100% that he has the staff even if you're being hit w/ dark damage. Sometimes he has a wand and a shield/focus.) If it's the staff then begin whittling down his henchmen.

Hall of Horrors:
This is where you'll do your killing. This is a looking into the hall right after you've run through the mob:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...ath_alley1.jpg

This is looking back down the hall toward Miluthran and his mob:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...ath_alley2.jpg

Order of kills:
1. Assassins -- they can cripple you so they're deadly.
2. Warriors -- because they use the shout "Charge" and that messes up your speed boosts.
3. Deathhands -- Unholy Feast spamming and uses plague touch. Don't get near them if they're crippled our you will be too.
4. Ritualist -- usually she stays with her spirit so you can ignore her. Even if she does put down displacement you can pull mobs out its range. That's why I dropped Seeking Arrows.

Method of killing:
Basically you're going to be laying down Barbed Trap and Flame Trap on top of each other all down the hall. Whatever comes through that should have a nice bit of HP taken off and be crippled. Hit them w/ Poison Arrow and Hunter's Shot if you have time. Then run away through the spiked coral to break aggro. Troll to heal up and repeat. You will wear them down 1-by-1.

Optional:
If you get the staff you may want to kill another mob to defeat the anti-farming code. I find that the rockhide dragons back near the rez shrine are pretty easy if you lay a line of three sets of barbed/flame traps up to the shrine. Then pull with a poison arrow and head to the shrine. (You may get "Gale-locked" but just keep moving to the shrine.) You'll get heals and an assist from the shrine's priest and two hammer warriors.

certainly, try to use a +20% enchanting mod for shadow form and do it like this:

You can get past the first 2 groups (1 on the stairs, one at the bottom) with dark escape. Then before u hit the third group, put on shadow form, then just go to the shrine (you will want to use your speed buff to lose aggro when shadow form has almost weared off)
And heal up from your shadow form. From there just walk past the assassin fish mobs, use dark escape to lose their aggro, keep running when the assassins spawn, hug the right side. Heal up again, a patrol will run towards you, dark escape past them. then put up shadow form after the second group. Use a speed buff to get rid of the chasers while your shadow form runs off, (keep hugging the right wall) heal up, and watch the patrols, make sure u don't hit one. When you are past the saltspray dragons, you should see rajazan, run past him then start to try lure him. I hope this helped, if not, give me a call in game !

Okey so i hav killed Mr. Rajazan about 20 times now and he has not wielded hes precious sword once!

Everytime i get to him he wields un ugly sword with the same skin as Sskai's Sword. So i wonder am I the only one with these problems? Is this a bugg or wat?

Pisses me off cuz when my friend farms him he wields the Fervor all the time and drops it in every 10th run or sumwat...

But, one question. Can he drop the Fervor although he is wielding the other ugly sword?

Based on my experience the answer to that is... NO! I've solo'd him dozens of times and only once have I gotten the sword. Now I'm inclined to just run through his mob and see what he switches to. So far here are the possiblities:

1. Outcast Staff
2. Wicked Blade
3. Spiral Wand
4. Blood/Truncheon Wand

None of these will result in a drop of the sword. He has to switch to the sword for it to have a chance to drop. You'll know it because it's silver and shiny with a tassle of ribon on the end.

EDIT: My current feeling (based on observation) is that the drop rates have been adjusted down for this green item.

Actually, he dropped his sword twice for me while wielding a Wicked Blade, and none of those times did he switch weapons. It's pure luck mostly.

I can confirm sir jackassIII's words, he can drop always, though I have never seen him hold his fervor and NOT drop it

I kept a tally when I was farming Rajazan using the following W/X build,

Tiger's Stance, Riposite, Deadly Riposte, Endure Pain, Bonetti (cover for healing sig), Healing Sig, Charge!, Sprint.
Str 10+1, Sword 8+1, Tact 12+1+2 (Major runes are geat now). Sskai's Sword(+30hp), Merki's Gaze(+30hp). 555 hp

Total kills: 37
Fervor droped kill #: 4, 7, 26, and 37

Using this build I would simply pull Rajazan from the group he is next to, sometimes this wasnt possible and I would need to pull the assassin/warrior/deathhand? away from Rajazan, ignore the rit and then kill Rajazan. Rajazan and the deathhand both use plaguetouch and endure pain is on my bar for when you are getting low on health from the bleeding they trasfered to you. I always made him pull out his sword/shield, which looks exactly like Sskai's Sword and Merki's Gaze(If I remeber correctly).

BTW I have never seen him use Rajazans Fervor which has the same skin as a broadsworard and its droped for me.
Also Merki the Reaver is along the way(sleight detour, hes next to the Luxon Unwakening Waters zone BUT there is not enough space to pull him using the same method as Rajazan, there are alos many more groups of outcast/squid looking things nearby) to Rajazan and with a different build you should be able to solo both in one run. If any1 has any sugestions for a build that could solo both pls post it here or msg me

Okey finally got the Fervor, wooo!

It dropped at run #31 and he was NOT wielding it. In those 31 runs i've made, Rajazan has wielded hes Fervor only once. And it didnt drop...

Sooo... Wat to do now

Keep going back. I do a few runs a night and I've only gotten it to drop once. The Fervor is a sweet sword and my 55hp necro enjoys having the 20% extra enchant time.

Sadly it doesn't sell for serious coin... only about 20-35k (from the look of the currently active auctions). Oh well, it's fun to try.

Ok, I can get past the groups of 6 armers, and the shrine carp dragon area, the next group of 6 armers, then get toasted every time by the popup oni and carp that block the path.

What am I doing wrong? should I be going wall hug on far right ??

any ideas would be great

Yeah mate, hug the wall on your right and your run to Rajazan should pass by unnoticed.

Err, I sold it for 70k 2 days ago, quick sale, saw others selling it for 80k. I doubt it dropped that much since then...

Hmmm... well my necro does enjoy the one she does have so I'm not selling that one. I guess I'll be going back for more.

I've got an improved version of my ranger build that has cut the farming time in half. I'll post it with pictures later on tonight if I get another drop. (I like the green to be in the screen.)
