Default Ranger spirits duration and range

Hey,

I have a question about ranger spirits. I see lots of barrage builds with favorable winds and conflagration and other spirits but they all have like a 60 second recharge. How do you deal with the recharge? Do you only plant the spirits when there is a big group and don't use them with groups between 3-5 monsters? I'm really wondering how the build works with recharge that long.

Basically choose when you NEED to use em. You shouldn't need to use favorable winds really though. Aiden uses barrage/volley just fine without any spirits.

Some spirits just enhance a build, they aren't necessary for you to kill your opponents. For certain spirits, recharge may be an issue. For this, the nature gods have been kind enough to bless us with [serpent's quickness].

So that means I can do [buildprof=R/E name="barrager" box desc="weapon #1 Zealous/Vamp longbow{br}Weapon #2 Flame-damage bow"][barrage][distracting shot][savage shot][serpents quickness][conflagration][antidote signet][lightning reflexes][conjure flame][/build]

Is that okay then? This means though that I can't use conjure and conflagration half the time. Is it worth bringing the conflagration spirit or is energy regen enough for me to take a fire-damage bow instead of a zealous? I'm still concerned about those spirits. Will the effect of conflagration stay with you even if you leave its range like what happens with [empowerment]???

Spirit Range:



You'll need Texmod and a spirit radar mod to display spirit range on your radar like that. There are quite a few available; I like Chthon's Components.

When you step outside [[Conflagration]'s range, or out of range of any nature ritual, they no longer have an effect.

You shouldn't need Conflagration; I've run a Conjure Barrage bar similar to that with 9 Expertise and an elemental bow without energy issues. You can swap to a 20% enchant weapon to cast for a longer Conjure.

Favorable Winds, with any normal amount of Marksmanship, lasts more than 60 seconds, so depending upon how fast you kill mobs, and the distance between them, you can be under the influence of FW almost whenever you need it. And, of course, if 2 people have FW, it's even easier.
Btw, it's better to put up a new FW as soon as it recharges, rather than wait for the old one to go down or get out of range.
