Ranger\Warrior, PvE build.

8 Tactics

10 + 1 Expertise (I know i don't hit lvl 12, but it's not so important because of Marksman's wager)

12 + 1 + 1 Marksmanship

Full survivor runes.

1) Marksman's wager
2)"Finish him!"
3)"You move like a dwarf!"
4)"I am the strongest!"
5)Sundering attack
6)Penetrating attack
7)Healing signet
8)Dodge

This is just a general build i've come up with, through hours of farming feathers. Just wondering what people think of it, that's all ^^ Thank you.

Take out Marksman's Wager..
Replace it with a useful Elite, like..
Burning Arrow or Melandru's Shot. Unless you're going for general damage output, use Expert's Dexterity.
Take out all attrib from tactics, and put it into Wilderness Survival.
Swap Healing Signet for Troll's Unguent.
Take out I Am The Strongest for an interupt like Disrupting Shot.

Not sure what you are trying to do with this build. Spam PvE skills and Sundering/Penetrating Attack using Marksmans Wager for energy management? Healing Signet is a waste of attributes, and I'm not sure what the point of Dodge is. Dodge to move between fights faster? Is this for solo or group? If group, does your team have IMS skills to catch up to you using Dodge?

What is the point? Seriously, PvE builds have many options, but this build doesn't fit any of them I can think of. Farming it fails, group play it fails, it MAY work alright for some of the SOLO quest/missions..... but 'general' use it doesn't do much.

Yes, sorry, should be more specific.

The build is mostly for solo play, i usually play in NM. It isn't viable in HM, but i don't think any ranger build could solo hell.

Marksman's is for being consistent in battle. Shifting it for another elite will make your energy run out. YMLAD and Finish him are both costly but very necessary. Zealous bowstring in my opinion isn't worth the lost regen pip in this build.

Dodge is for getting away when you're outnumbered. Enemies give up chase quickly when you activate it.

I try hard to comprimize skills into the build, to have consistent damage but still be safe. Safety comes first.

well you're still prep'ing with Marksman so why not go Prepared shot instead? You'll get the en return and bonus dmg plus a prep that can add to your build (IAS, bonus dmg, unblockable arrows etc).

As others have stated, the investment into Tactics for Heal sig doesn't seem strong. You've still got the downside to Heal sig as well and don't sport the AL of a Wa or Shield (don't meet the shield rec either for focus swapping). If your intent is to 'run' and save yourself, than troll would be more effective (even 'feel no pain' would be if you bumped another PvE skill).

You can't solo with that build. If you mean hero+hench, you could. Now, if you are hero+henching and use Dodge to escape, why do you not have a rez? You will end up running away and the heroes+hench will get killed most likely. So why run if you will be the only one to survive and have no way to bring them back up.

You have no interrupts, so unless playing with heroes or hench that have them, you won't do much to shut down the healers or enemy nukers. Face a group of Afflicted with RoJ Monks and rezing Rits and you'll wish you had some interrupts.

Your energy management relies on your elite prep. If you are blinded or the enemy is blocking, you have no energy. Antidote Signet would remove Blind from you, but blocking would require another person unless you wanted to use Seeking Arrows or a skill like Crossfire or Called Shot. I'd make sure your heroes are able to remove conditions for when you get blinded.

If you enjoy using it, continue to do so. I just don't see it as being effective at much. There are better ways to manage energy, better ways to deal damage, better ways to support the team (interrupts, conditions, etc.), and better PvE skills to use for 'general' use. Healing Signet and 8 Tactics is a waste as you could put those attributes to better use and find another self heal that would work better.
