you can get pretty far using hit--> run style to take out all archers and then return to your own base but renewall is , in this chase better
Rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl < nearly died of lauhing. You missing one important thing. People have BRAINS and MONKS, this build is like the ultimate cookie cutter build. Why would you show you beating up dummies (wooden)? They cant move, fight back, or heal. Wow real achievement. its like putting a tied up dog into a river. its like "wow, that was hard"(sarcasm)

I used to use double attunes, and believe me. Prod is Better!

[QUOTE=meat shield].... wich is less flexible, taking your elite slot and does less dmg that the whole 1234 stuff here..]

You say Glyph of Renwal is less flexible, but how? You get to cast MS any time you want to, or cast Rodgort's in fast succession. That's incredibly flexible if you want to aoe stuff. I can use a Glyph fire build in areas where I don't even bother putting Fire Attunement up because of shatters. So I can only cast MS once and drop one Incendiary/Fireball combo per encounter - oh well since I still have enough energy stored to drop another MS if I really need to at any time.

You've used your elite slot on Elemental Attunement. Great. You'll never dip below 75 energy.

Also, please explain to me how you deal more damage with dual attunements using the same damage skills? Maybe you meant if a fight lasts longer than a minute? Normally my pve groups move on before the final meteor drops, or the other pack of mobs is so close to death another cast of MS isn't warranted.

but what IF the fight last longer than 5 mins you are pretty useless using renewall there. like while fighting rotscale whit the constant -2 energy degen in that chase this build is beter.. i think.

and here comes the quistion: what is the ultimate rotscale ele build :P

When i fought Rotscale i we didnt get 2 degen of energy. The build for rotscale would be : spinal shivers, ether prodigy, there youve got all you need to interupt his every skill (as long as you and a few of your team mate have cold dmg wands , swords etc) You could also bring along a few more water dmging spells and some curses. (assuming you're E/N)

Then either your team sucks or they need to kick out the ele and bring in something that can actually cause damage in the long run?
If i ever see Metoer Shower been cast in ABs, i have enough time to make a cup of tea, then come back to interrupt it. Think i ran into that ele 4 times and only a single fast casting Meteor was cast before he died. The sooner people realise that outside of nuking shrines fire is absolutely useless, the better.

Why would you use Renewal vs Rotscale anyway? What would you possibly gain from been able to double cast something against him...

^^ too true, I wouldn't see the use of nuking in AB, my sin can do a better job than a nuker, alone, if yer an ele and in AB I suggest Air Spike or direct damage fire.

It's always the same:

1. Energy management

- Dual attune
- Glyph of Energy
- Ether Prodigy (haven't seen that one in PvE truthfully)

2. Half-spammables:
- Immolate
- Fireball
- Incendiary Bonds

3. Nukes (+ use echoing, renewing)
- M. Shower
- Rodgorts Invocation

4. PBAoE (not recommended unless in self defense mode)
Wont comment on usefullness of Inferno, Lava Font etc.

Just to stop thinking anybody can be original whatsoever with fire-line.
To the OP: L2Write, plx..

Just a few questions here:

1. AB = ?
2. Rotscale, I run a full fire build against Rotscale with a Ranger casting winter and SS from necro. I basically clear out the full compliment of Rots' companions in 2/3 strikes. Then clear out the phantoms that pop up from the rear and then we take on Rot. I user fireball, Rods Inv, MS, immolate and flare. Thus far this has worked very well for me. I do a very good amount of dmg against him with the warrior body blocking him. Why do you say a fire ele is unable to cause much dmg against him?

I didn't, i said what use would Renewal be against him. But the point of fire is AoE damage, not single target. When it comes to killing the Ghouls, Tank + Cyclone Axe + Judges Insight = Win.

to 9th requiem, i know flare shudnt be there, but i always take it for when im w8ing for spells to recharge or am low on energy. thnx for pointing it out though :P

and to great al i know MS hits 3 times, but most mobs move after the first hit for me, its a pain casting MS then seeing the mob move out of its AoE bcos they decided they want to eat/kill sum1 else

and as i said in my post, it depends on ur prefrence. i prefer to use E prodigy and echo rods bcos it has a larger AoE and causes burning i do use MS bcos of the KD/interupt effect which is perfect for killing a very annoying boss and giving others the chance to hack and slash it to ^_^.

let me be honest to you all before any of u start calling any fire build old news.
Read Ensign's post about WHY NUKING SUX, not in specific to PVP, but technically, Eles are very limited in fire attribute to those skills specified above, i.e. by Torquemada.

Dual attunes work quite efficiently in The Deep. Done enough runs, know The deep and its weaknesses inside out. If ur speaking of spirits, work without duals for sometime, wont hurt. I can't stop using duals just because 15% of the entire mission strips my enchantments, while 85% of the mission has no issues.
Fire in general needs to be reworked. Elemental skills are the only one affected the most by Armour Level.
Big deal, Rodgorts does 127 damage, and Meteor does 119. 8 damage difference ( which in actual once armour is counted, has an actual difference of about 2 or 3 damage at times. )
Recharge wise, yes, i love rodgorts. One of the core nuke skill an ele has. Just like fireball.
The areas where u find issues for fire attribute is where you need to switch ur secondary to ranger, help your self out and keep winter with you. Experiments never hurt, but they actualy help alot. Just do some research before you enter into an explorable area.

As far as E-Prodigy goes, i personaly rarely use it even though it happens to be the best energy management spell out there. Reason, i still cant cast as freely in PVE as much as i want to.
*shrugs and looks at my previous post*

Regardz,
An Elementalist.

Not trying to flame your post, but this isn't a very good build. Plus there's alot better factions skills then met shower. IMO Dual attunes are not needed, especially in pve.

I appriciate you replying to my post, and i honestly feel like finding the build which is good for a nuker based on what they got available? would u kindly help me out here for nuker builds? IMO. Duals work if you know how to make it work, and not using skills which are not elements. Duals is specifically ELE skills engine.

The main problem with Ele's is vs. armor. They work great against other Ele's, Mesmers, Monks, etc. It's pretty easy to be effective against them, and easy to completely stink at killing W's and R's. The only way to be effective against those are with degen or something from the Obsidian line.

I tried something with Brambles/Bed of Coals/Sac Glyph/Dragon Stomp, and worked pretty well, but not something I'd probably bring in many pve groups because I try not to be suicidal.

I think I used Burning Speed instead of Bed of Coals, and brought MS instead of Stomp, once in a challenge mission, and it worked pretty well. I asked the monks if they thought I was too suicidal, and they said 'no' (although I did notice Divine Intervention on me a few times, even when we weren't fighting [musta been a hint]).

They are if you want Masters. If you think your team has time to take 2 minute tea breaks while your energy recharges or your exhaustion wears off, think again.
