1) To shutdown warriors?
2) To shutdown mesmers?
3) Interrupt?
4) Pure damage?

Just asking because i just started playing mesmer and cant find any pve builds anywhere :/

Pure damage is probably E-surge/e-burn, or fast cast elementalism, or just hex degen spamming (does DoT count?). To shutdown warriors in pve, ineptitude, clumsiness, and spirit of failure are all very good, as is empathy, but you'd be spreadding your attributes thin. You could also dip into necromancer skills for reckless haste.

I don't know why you'd need to shut down just mesmers, but diversion is a god, and for pve guys they cast through backfire, so that's always nice. Migraine works well too but doesn't synergize with backfire.

Psychic distraction and lots of energy management are all you'd need for pure interrupting.

Just use MoR with Backfire, Empathy, Cry, Shatter Hex, and ton of e-management (Tap, Drain Ench, Power Drain, whatever) and you'll be fine in most any situation. Sometimes Diversion and Blackout come in handy, esp. vs bosses.

I'll suggest MoRecovery or Ineptitude. Inept hits everything in Pve, and the 20 second recharge isnt that bad considering the amount of skills you can use in between. However, I found an excellent build that works well for me:

Mantra of Recovery
Empathy
Backfire
Power Spike
Drain Enchantment
Phantom Pain/Power Drain
Shatter Delusions/Shatter Hex
Resurrection Signet or Monk Res

Shatter Hex is for areas with lots of hexes. Keep in mind, henchmen try to remove hexes whenever possible. So power drain is excellent if you use PP just for deepwound, in which case.. it's quite easy to maintain it on targets with mid priority. have fun.

No one can really tell you that, I mean only you can know, try reading about mesmers,

You can't go in a area full of spell casters and take empathy instead of backfire if you know what I mean :S.

Actually you can... it's PvE... you can easily roll the whole thing with one build. Once in awhile you will need to pack a special skill to use (most often Diversion or Blackout to shut down certain bosses) but you can easily roll the whole game with a MoR Domination build, or an Ineptitude/Epidemic Illusion build.

mmm so because its pve Mesmers have the same build over and over again and dont have to change ? ok lets see

If you go in a area with lots of spell casters like bosses for example

Migraine
Power Spike
Power Drain
Cry of Frustration
Conjure Phantasm
Leech signet
Drain enchantment
Rez

go in a area with lots of meele users (example: stone summit)

Ineptitude
Clumsiness
Images of remorse
Conjure phantasm
Energy Tap
Distortion
Ether feast (I know, but it might save you sometimes)
