Please review The following build let me know your thoughts

Bad Day Build Mesmer/Assassin

Attributes are really up to you. This build should keep the heat on healers.

Bad Day Build Mesmer/Assassin

Dagger Mastery
Shadow Arts
Illusion

Zealous Daggers

Phantom Pain – 10 Energy 2 Casting 15 Recharge
For 10 seconds, target foe suffers Health degeneration of 1...3. When Phantom Pain ends, that foe suffers a Deep Wound, lowering that foe's maximum Health by 20% for 5...17 seconds

Elite Fevered Dreams- 10 Energy 2 casting 10 Recharge
For 10...22 seconds, whenever target foe suffers from a new Condition, all foes in the area suffer from that Condition as well.

Lead Attack – Jagged Strike 5 energy 1 Sec Recharge
If Jagged Strike hits, your target suffers from Bleeding for 1...12 seconds

Off hand Skill - Black Spider Strike 5 energy 12 Recharge
Must strike a Hexed foe. If it hits, this attack strikes for +5...17 damage and target foe is Poisoned for 5...17 seconds.

Dual Attack – Death Blossom 5 energy 2 Recharge
Must follow an off-hand attack. If it hits, Death Blossom strikes target foe for +20...40 damage and all adjacent foes take 20...40 damage.

Return – 5 Energy ¼ casting 15 Recharge
All adjacent foes are Crippled for 3...7 seconds. Teleport to target other ally's location.

Shadows Refuge 5 Energy 1 Casting 8 Recharge
For 4 seconds, you gain 5...9 Health Regeneration. When Shadow Refuge ends, you gain 20...68 Health if you are attacking.

Resurrection Signet


Or drop Return / Phantom Pain and add ;

Illusion of Weakness- 10 Energy 2 casting 30 Recharge
You lose 50...202 Health. Illusion of Weakness ends if damage drops your Health below 25% of your maximum. When Illusion of Weakness ends, you gain 50...202 Health.

Shroud of Distress- 10 energy 1 casting 45 Recharge
For 30...54 seconds, if you are below 50% Health, you have a 75% chance to block attacks.

Considering you need to phantom pain or fevered dreams them to hit them with black spider, and with no fast casting, the two secounds could be a bit long... But other then that it seems nice. With Illusion of Weakness or some other enchantment you would switch in Golden Lotus Strike to the build for infinate energy, as long as its on you though the bleeding might be lost. "D But the build should work fine unless you are in a pinch, the healing isn't much to save you then...

Well, its really fun to use~ Its hard to get to someone in the back though, because as a mesmer, you are a primary target... >>; If you can actually finish the combo, they are usually dead... Though being ignored/alive long enough to finish casting your hex, running up to them, and getting close enough long enough to finish your combo is hard. Wouldn't it be better to make a sin to do this? A mesmer has frail armor anyways, this build seems good but I think it might be better with a sin, instead of Phantom pain he could use impale, just a suggestion :P. yay for fevered dreams ^_^.

Hmmm...

would you not be better off removing phantom pain and jagged strike for twisted fangs? Death Blossom's recharge is useless since you need an off-hand attack. Black Spider Strike has a recharge of 12 seconds.

Now you could instead remove black spider strike and take wild strike. Then you can take advantage of death blossom (keeping jagged strike and PP).

Seems good otherwise.

You could use a sin set up but energy may be an issue due to the 2 hexes that are cast at the start of the chain.

Paragon may be another option for a secondary for the added range. They do have a few condition adding spear skills / but more restrictions are in place for them to take effect, and the wait for Adrenaline may slow it down.

The Mesmer’s Prodigy’s Armor (+5 for each skill that is recharging max 3) and an armor mod for your daggers may be an option for some armor but not much.

Deaths Charge could be added for help on rushing targets and then drop Phantom Pain

Just because this is different then the norm you could also ask your monk in advance to keep a better eye on you. Since you are going melee.

Also you could talk to your Elementalist in advance about targets. Have them wait for the hex and nail them with Searing Flames followed by Steam

Twisted Fangs totally missed that one (was just looking at Dagger skills) Awesome for an Assassin Primary. I got a get my Sin to cap this skill good fun.

Cast Fevered Dreams followed by Black Mantis Thrust / Black Spider Strike / Twisted Fangs / Impale If they are still standing
