Me/W doesn't have to use Illusionary Weaponry...and because you see a lot of Me/Ws about doesn't mean it's a good profession combination. They may just be using a tactics stance ([[Shield Stance], [[Deflect Arrows] and the like) as self defense.

Anyway, I'm fairly sure Me/W uses a Scythe, and the "/W" is for the skill [[Flurry]. Tbh, if it's just that build you're looking for a quick search either here, or on PvX wiki will probably do the trick.

Edit:

IW Thread on GWG

IW Build on PvX - Is using a Scythe take out Riposte!

Either of those what you're looking for?

Dunno why im helping you since you guild hopped straight into, and then out of mine, but anywayz:

as a Me/W I like heal sig. Its heal is good and its downside is reduced due to Fast Casting. Especially if you run the ripostes on you're bar, and semi decent tactics with a caster sword it can be an extremely efficient self heal.

If you're running IW builds flurry is the best IAS because its downside is ignored, can be permanently maintained, and overall is good. Along with this, put in the afore mentioned Heal Sig & Ripostes for a formidible IW build.

Finally, running block stances can be a great help for getting off youre spells without worrying too much about that warrior pounding on you, or that ranger interupting you.

Just dont run [Frenzied Defence] because then an ele could like 1 hit kill you with Rodgorts or something like that.

I think(and hope..) that most of those Me/W you see take /W skills to prevent getting ganked by melee.
They probably use skills like [shield bash][Shield Stance] and in case this was in AB, even [sprint].
