Exclamation Earth Ele/sin

Ok, I use these skills with maxed Earth, 9(or whatever dagger req is) daggers, and the rest in energy storage.

Stone Daggers
Ash Burn(?)(Going to be Crystal Wave)
Aftershock
Shadow Somthing(I get like 6 health regen for 4 secs and gain 20 health if im attacking when it ends, somthing like that)
Sliver Armor
Ward Against Elements
Armor of Earth

Ok there you go guys, hope you can help me improve on this build, like I said im gonna get crystal wave and I dont think I need both of the last skills, but I need help choosing, also I probably wont keep that sin skill.

Thanks a bunch guys.

P.S. My elementalist doesnt seem to attack as fast with daggers as a primary assassin does, is it just me, or do I need to be a primary sin to attack fast?

I do this because I use a set of 20% longer enchant and zealous daggers for sliver and energy regen purposes, and it defeats the purpose of being a secondary sin if I cant attack quickly. Thanks again guys

Okay, first off, since you have 0 points into Shadow Arts, Shadow Refuge will give you +5 regen for 4 seconds and 20 life if you are attacking when it ends.

You have listed 7 skills, is the 8th skill a rez?

Without level 12 dagger mastery, you won't do full damage. Even then I think the max damage is 17 (vs AL 60). You have mostly spells, so why not use Aura of Restoration for your healing? 4 seconds of +5 regen isn't much at all.

If you plan on attacking melee, then you will need better protection. You will also lack energy management too. Crystal wave is good (better than Ashes since you don't have any KDs).

I would take off Stone Daggers and Aftershock, and add Jagged Stike and Iron Palm. The use Ash Blast (rather than Crystal Wave).

But I would still suggest some energy management of some kind.

Though the idea of using daggers seems good, without investing heavily into Dagger Mastery and an attack chain, then the damage they'll do will be pretty meh. However, you're on the right lines with Aftershock and Crystal Wave. I'd take a guess that as an Earth E/A, it'd be best to shadow step to your unwary victim, then Grasping Earth to prevent him from running away. Then proceed to unleash all the fury you can muster with the powerful assortment of point-blank AoE spells that Earth can offer. Crystal Wave and Tenai's Crystals are powerful, yet expensive. Seeing as how Grasping Earth is a hex, then maybe going Earth/Deadly Arts/Energy Storage, and using Iron Palm/Aftershock and following with Entangling Asp/Ash Blast for damage, conditions and knockdowns. As for the Elite, there's 2 obvious choices -Shockwave to be a more powerful damage dealer, or Aura of Displacement for more surprise attacks.

Damn, I oughtta take a look at E/A a bit more...

P.S. The reason that your Elementalist doesn't attack as fast with daggers is:
A) He doesn't do all the cool ninja-stabbing stuff, just kinda lamely flails his daggers - this is purely aesthetical, the attack rate is the same... and...
B) With a higher Dagger Mastery, you have a higher chance to pull off double-hits, which effectivley increases your attack speed.

If you're already in the /A line and using Shadow Refuge, why not use Caltrops? Then you can Aftershock without reducing the damage for it. Oh fine, I would bring Ward Against Foes.

I think putting the copy of Crystal Wave in the Stone Daggers slot would be better, since you're never going to be able to kill anybody without it being a spike, and Stone Daggers doesn't contribute much. Unless you plan to use Kinetic Armor instead of Armor of Earth (which lowers your speed, so I'd recommend you replace).

shadow step/KD/Aftershock ftw.

never played an elementalist til this past week (my account has 1050 hours+) So its really nice to be able to gain insight form the fact that most players have had an elementalist probably since they started playing... despite people saying the class is dying- I think its probably one of the most common AND most essential classes. Elementalist will never go out of style.
