Making an ele just for one attunement not an efficient use of your character slots. If your going ot make an ele, learn all the atunemnts and buy the coresponding heald piece for each. You said you got bores with your ele as a fire ele, so convert it to water if you like.DEleting and startin an entire new cahracter JUST to change attunemins is nonsense.AS for water magic, water was never intended to be a stand alose attunement. read the skills, and you wil see that water magic is intended to compliment the other attunements.
take steam for example.. to get its full use you need to have a way to set them on fire.Water magic alone has no spells that cause burning hence you
need a skill from another attunement.Glyph og imoation or the spell imolate,
are a few examples found in fire magic. look at air magic and you will see some air skills that were made with water hexes in mind.If you want to go 100% water thats up to you but i will remind you that you can get far more efficent with your 8 skills if you synergize your bar to meet the teams needs.
Dont reroll an entire new ele jsut to change attunements. thats like buying a new compulter every time you want to run a new program.

Random spacing, captialization and misspellings FTW.

Water magic IS meant to be a standalone attribute.

um... picking aprt my spelling mistakes... how mature.
and no water sucks by itself. works much better with oher things mixed in.
you put a fire ele with only fire spells in his bar against a water ele with only water spells in his bar.. hmmm who is gonna win?

yeah... thats what i thought.

A Fire Ele with only Fire spells would win, because the Fire Ele has better damage.
Why are you comparing a DPS line of attributes against a Snare line of attributes?

And yeah, Water is better as a standalone attribute, as is every other. Ward Against Melee doesn't say much to being a dual spec for me, as it's only 1 skill, and GoLE or Glowing X is good enough energy management to be able to spec it.

And yeah, picking apart your spelling mistakes is mature if you ask me. It makes YOUR posts easier to read, and also stops you from sounding quite...bad...

Why can't you just put half-decent grammar in your posts?

And the skills, in your other post can be used with 0 spec, such as Glyph of Immolation.
Although everyone knows how cheap 5 energy is.

The problem is, you put a fire ele with only fire spells and a water ele with water+fire, and the fire ele will still win. So what's your point?

Everyone and their hot sisters (I'm looking at Tyla here) know that fire eles do more damage than water eles, but water eles have more utility.

I'm not sure what you ment by that*, but I think he was pointing at a 1 versus 1.

If this was more than 1 person, I would say Water because of the utility.

* = What the hell do you mean by "Everyone and their hot sisters"?

I think that's where we stand as far as "the best water elites for each campaign" goes. Shatterstone and Water Trident are both decent in PvE, and Icy Shackles is criminally fun in PvP. In the end, really, it doesn't matter where the character is created. Create it in the campaign with the prettiest faces, then just know where the elites are to cap as you journey through.

DOnt get me wrong water is a decent atribute and can do damage.
but water can enchance the other atributes quite well and water is MUCH more effective when mixes in exept in cirtain circumstances in pvp where you may needs to be 100% snares. Bute even then you can achieve this task
and have 2 or 3 slots left over. Once again it depends on the teams needs.
If your water ele needs damage AND snares or all snares or all damage
or if your a farmer that likes to solo. but as i said before dont make an entire new ele just to operate with a different attunement. just use the corresponding head piece and weapon site.
I once knew a guy that had 2 rangers.. one was for trapping ONLY and the other was for degen/spike ONLY. then he had 4 warriors. one for hammer only, one for sword one for axe and one for stance tanking.

6 slots used. and having to go through prophesies 6 times to get each ready(prophecies was the only one available at the time i know him)
anyhow you get my point as for whta campain...i personaly would create my ele ineither tyria if i wanded legendary survivour title or i would do NF becaues yo ucan get off noob island and into any other campeign in a few hours + you already have all the core skills available to you and the most popular elites, searing flames and sand storm.

My ele is my main, and I started in proph b/c that was all i had at the time. The advantage to a proph ele is you get to unlock most of the more useful core skills to an ele. The down side is that there is not much place for a water ele until later in the game where slowing and blinding are really useful teamed w/ a fire nuker. I would have to say factions is the most desireable for fast lvling but imo don't plan on limiting yourself to water only. Unless I am going for all out damge(fire), or farming(earth), I tend to use multi ele builds like Fire and Water, Water and Air(<--destroyers, burning titans), or Earth and Air(good for lotsa knockdowns).

Run Glyph of Immolation at nil spec, run Steam at 6+1 or 8+1 spec.
You have a source of blind too.

And if you need damage? Shatterstorm is good.
