Default Glint's chalange - what is YOUR favorite build ?

I'm trying to find the best ele-build for this chalange (not solo).

I personally use earth - 2 AOE damage skills, 2 wards, earth attunement, GoLE, radiation field and A.A.acid.

would be happy to read your comments

i wonder why you use earth magic, the wards sound good but earth damage against destroyers isn't recommended
as for me
i wouldnt go without 2 jagged bombers

There is no way he could be talking solo. 2 wards as his only protection? I can't see 2 AoE spells, no matter what they were, killing them fast enough that he wouldn't get swarmed without one of the typical [obsidian flesh] solo builds.

As far as I know, destroyers have equal defense vs. earth, water and air. As for a build I'd base it around pve skills like ether nightmare and cry of pain, or just take ursan if you don't care. If you don't want to run pve skills, I'd try either conditions or as a buffer for your front line with mb for e management.

I'd play a Blind + Epidemic Air Build + PvE skills, and take an Earth hero with me.

Dunno if [[Winds] would be that useful in there, but could help during Ranger-heavy waves.

Destroyers have greater Earth resistance than Air or Water.

Earth builds are way too slow killing. Sure it can work but why spend 5-10 min longer doing a run?

[ursan] Ursan is still a viable answer to Glints. You have to consider what to do when ursan drops, which for Glint's Challenge.... there are plenty of combinations that you can use and not run into problems. For the first wave, nothing will slice through to the spawn point faster than ursan. Although it is fast, it isn't a must have. Using an energy management Elite can be a great asset [energy boon] [ether prodigy] [Lyssa's Aura].

One or both of these skills are very important to a fast Glint's run [Alkar's Alchemical Acid] or [Pain Inverter].

90% of my Glint's skill bars are based on other profession skills and pve only skills (I'm an ele) [Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support] [You Are All Weaklings!] [cry of pain] and maybe have 1-2 spammable ele skills (usually just ice spear)[Ice Spear]. Typically I go with E/Me for arcane echo [Arcane Echo] (to echo acid or pi) and illusion skills [Shrinking Armor] and sometimes use builds incorporating [Frustration] for the hopes.

Your skillbar doesn't have to reflect your primary profession.

In Glints its way more effective to think outside the ele box. Your main focus for designing your build should be energy management and quick killing.... which results in faster runs.
