Get rid of GoS, you shouldn't need it.

If I take Meteor Shower, I also take Mindbender. Having a 20/20 and a 20/20 also helps. However, lately, I haven't been using Meteor Shower, opting to target individual enemies as opposed to AoE. And, yes, there are a lot of circumstances where you do more damage with Earth and even Water skills, even though Water isn't that popular, at the moment.

I agree, GoS is a waste of a precious slot.

Of cause GoS can be replaced with another damage dealing spell.

I had no problems with Fire Magic damage output in HM. And no, I didn't use sabway, discordway. Nor have I used AP. No cons either. Since I don't consider myself to be either leet or godly, I simply cannot fathom people saying that fire doesn't deal enough damage in HM.

You are a heretic. I would burn you, but some of my fellow posters seem to consider that ineffective

I think it all comes down to knowing what kind of foes you're going to face in a specific area and adjusting your build accordingly.

When Rodgorts Invocation does 30-50 damage I figure I might as well spec earth and load up on defense + broken PvE skills to roll everything.

[Eruption][Churning Earth]["You Move like a dwarf"]["Finish him"][Assassin's promise][earth attunement][pain inverter][ward against melee] or [ward against elements]

Fire is absolutely pwnage in NM

It does more damage than earth but earth provides utility.

But its NOT like you need utility in NM

The enemies can get mowed down by a decent nuker in seconds.

In HM fire pretty much sux.

Utility becomes more important opening mainly earth and some air/water

Water and air IMO truly shine in PvP

Yeah I definitely agree water shines in PvP. Don't like air so much though.

What about Mind Blast for the fire department of eles?

[[Ether renewal (pve)] made [[mind blast] obsolete.

On other note, most people that talk about how good fire damage is, never used an earth shaker warrior with splinter weapon, following it with crude swing, another earth shaker and a whirlwind attack for good measure in a few secs. God help the mob if [[order of pain] and its sibling [[dark fury] show their faces.

The same for a moebius/blossom sin with great dwarf weapon.
