not much because devoting your bar to this elite that recharges in 15 seconds isn't as great as you think.

I bet when you in pvp some lvl 62979427 boss does 2847982744 dmg with this, so you use it,

I will tell you something, players dont go above lvl 20 :P so we dont have 87124987428 attribute points in air magic :P

With 4 Invokes... Man, I think you'd wipe the 1st groupyou come up against insta... Albeit every 20 seconds only...

Try it out and let us know...

I reckon it would decimate in a spike, but be slow to recharge...

I was thinking about trying out a skill to reduce the recharge indeed, but not for Invoke Lightning itself. Arcane Echo is fun. If you had 2 eles like this, you'd have 4 copies of Invoke Lightning... That means about 4 times 220+ (That's 124x1,5625=193,75, but that's without the Armor Penetration) dmg to 3 foes... If you'd have a necro spreading Cracked Armor aswell, I'm almost sure you could whipe mobs in 1 cast by each ele =P.

Seen something like this run in pvp. Yes mod the bar a little for that so don't start flaming that the dwarf skills can't be used.

Works well but the spike requires a buit of work so not to get interupted. That said in pve it should work out well as you can have 3 ele heros? so 4 eles and you could drop a group pretty fast, keep 40/40 air set.

19 air magic = 124 damage (25% AP) to 3 foes.

By ural's hammer/intensity (assume max ranks) = 193 damage +25% AP

Assume 100AL (Hard mode) and Cracked armor as you suggested.

100 - 20 = 80 x .75 = 60

You'll do 193 damage to 3 foes per cast, assuming you don't get interrupted. (Also assuming you're not facing foes with greater than 100 armor)

Now, compared to say, ray of judgment...

Let's assume 16 smiting prayers.

5 x 48 + 14 x 8 = 352 armor-ignoring damage from one cast, to all adjacent foes rather than just 3 foes.

If you throw in intensity and by ural's hammer like you're using..

75 x 5 + 14 x 8 = 487 damage from ONE ray of judgment. That's more damage than both of your invoke lightnings deal at 19 spec.

This combination, instead, would only use 3 slots on a skill bar, and leave 5 for utility. (smite hex, smite condtion, seed of life, castagion signet, smiter's boon) which gives you far more utility and damage...

Rounded off, each ele (after echoing) takes 6 seconds to deal 400 damage to 3 foes. A RoJ would take 10 seconds to deal 500 damage from a single cast. If you add in arcane echo, a single RoJ can pump out around 900 damage. Therefore 2 RoJ would have more damage output just from the initial nukes and not the additional smites than your 4 Invokers.

All in all, nice try, but not very effective.

Just two little problems:
1. If you go Ray of Judgment, you'd have to choose /Me or /E, so you can't go Intensity AND have two elite copies.
2. Ray of Judgment is AoE, Invoke Lightning doesn't scatter mobs.

Don't know if that'll make such a big difference, but, kay xD.

Ray Of Judgment doesn't scatter mobs either, if I'm not mistaken. And I think the comparison was between a Mo/ running RoJ anyway, comparing general damage capabilities.

If more than 1 RoJ is damaging an enemy/enemies, they will scatter, otherwise, a single RoJ does not (it's bugged, the AI doesn't recognize it as AoE DoT).

If you want even more fun with [[Invoke Lightning], bring along [[Arcane Mimicry] (if you have another player or Hero running with IL) so you can copy it that way as well since you're already going with /Me secondary for [[Arcane Echo].

All in all, this isn't going to be terribly efficient, but it might be fun to run around acting like a big bug-zapper? mebbe? ... BRRRZZZZZZAP!

It would be awesome if the recharge wasn't so punishing.

Compared to discordway, 2 second recharge, 5 energy, 1 casting time.

You do say 200 damage with one spell, but then your damage boost spells goes out. Then your hitting 50% less for 15 seconds. Add some [[Ebon Battle Standard of [email protected]] for some extra damage for you and your team.

[[Invoke Lightning] damage isn't that good. There are tons of better skills for damage (e.g. [[Ray of Judgment] as mentioned above).
Even [[Searing Flames] beats [[Invoke Lightning] due to the cooldown.
