hmm ah well, i took the comment on new skills to be the reworking of existing skills to work in new ways anyway, as with all professions dervish have alot of "not so good" skills which could be improved, so in that sense the small skill pool could be a good thing, easier to get the whole set working right.

I think if ANet did the changes as I described them on the last page, adding new skills would be entirely unnecessary, since the whole class would feel like new! And most of the existing skills would have modified or additional functionality.
