Names...i can't help you with that o_O I named a lot of my characters from stories i've written or my old RO characters. (Esthera was actually the name of my Assassin in RO xD I just came up with Inara out of thin air)

I also like scrambling words..like Laenavesse is actually my first and last name scrambled ^.^ Resaeth, my middle. And there is the name of my ranger, the first character made for GW :O

Anyway, you can either do something witty, make an actual name, or have one of those ___ of ___ or whatever. Or something that's...IMO...stupid..like..Super Crazy Freak or something >_> Ugh. *can't handle those types of names)

For armor, I still like my 15k luxon bestest n___n Died black its teh sex n___n

But anyway, i always went for the Canthan armor for non-elite. Iunno, i like the skirt ^^ The leggings of the Imperial make me cringe, and seitung..no flair >_> It's so plaaaaaaaaaaain.

And a note on vabbi: You look like fat aliens o___O

I like the vabbian, it has the whole navy seal look, and you don't look as anorexic. I guess to some people that means "fat". Sad.
I'm not into the whole excessive blades thing though.

1k kurz doesn't look bad either.

Ok, fine, on Elite armour: it'll be Ancient for me. At least the chest piece. I AM one for excessive blades

Shame the hands and feet look a bit awkward. Any1 know of good alternatives for these?

My general policy regarding naming is to pick a culture that seems appropriate, search the Internet for a page with names from that culture, and picking one I like.

Looking at Factions: Asian-themed names are the obvious choice for a Canthan character, but the monastery also accepts Kurzicks and Luxons which seem to be Germanic and Greek respectively.

Armour suggestions?
Skip BOTH Luxons and the 15k Kurzick: they're all lopsided on females and look awful. To be honest most female Assassin armour looks fairly awful IMHO. Your best bet is 15k Exotic... as that is the one set of armour that looks better on a female Sin than a male.
If you'd rather look like a Ninja.... you'll need to get Eye of the North (to get one of the Ninja Masks and combine it with 15k Canthan).

As for names.... All my Canthan characters have Korean names (you'll find most Japanese names are taken already) and are members of the same family (all start with Hyun). Chinese names work well too and sound good. Most other players don't seem particularly interested in that aspect of the game though and prefer to call their characters things like "Meaty Walrus" or "X Supergrrl X"... which frankly annoys me.

Oddly enough though... my one Elonian character has a semi-Korean, semi-African name (Hyun Tau Yera)... and both my Tyrian characters are Ghosts (my Necro is "Ghost of Cot Death" while my Warrior is "Ghost of the Hyksos").

I use Seitung (old blue-green dye combo that blends in with the jade sea areas almost perfectly) and normal Canthan armor. They look okay and they aren't too expensive. However I also like 1.5 kurzick and elite imperial.

You'd have to come up with a name yourself because even if I suggested something, it might already have been taken.
