Default perma question

why do you cast [glyph of swiftness] before [deadly paradox] ?

wouldn't you do [deadly paradox] [glyph of swiftness] then [shadow form] ?

edit: does [deadly paradox] make skills recharge 33% faster ONLY when its up, or as long as you activate while its up it will recharge 33% no matter what?

it doesn't matter either way if you have 16 in shadow arts. but if you cast one first that one goes into effect first then the other. that's rather confusing so if you GoS first then DP, SF's recharge will be reduced by 25%(from GoS), then that total will be reduced by 33%(from DP). if you DP first, then GoS, the recharge will be reduced by 33% then that total will be reduced by 25%. honestly i have no idea if it makes a difference in the overall recharge (because it works no matter how you cast it and i don't feel like doing any math) if you do one before the other but that's the mechanics of it.

Order doesn't matter between the two. The only reason it would matter is if you were going to cast more Assassin skills soon after SF, and to get the most distance out of Deadly Paradox, you'd want to activate it as late as possible before SF.

since dealy paradox is a stance it activates immediately. although it doesn't really matter order, u'll have an extra second of deadly paradox if u activate it after glyph. no need to put it 1st cause it doesnt affect glyph

It affects skills that are activated while it's up.

["By Ural's Hammer!"] can be substituted, in fact its really optional, but it help ur damage a lot. [Ebon Battle Standard of Honor] really can not be substituted. It would cut ur damage down by a LOT.

Quoted for truth.

To the OP: remember that there's no single perma build; there are different variants crafted for different areas, and sometimes you don't even attack much. But wherever you're spamming your dagger attacks, [Ebon Battle Standard of Honor] is going to help you tremendously.

If you're at 12 Earth Magic for [sliver armor], you can try [intensity] and/or [elemental lord].
