Default Chaining

I often get erked when playing my sin in PvE since most of the time that im trying to do a chain on a monster(I run the DB/Moebius build) it dies before I am able to complete the chain most of the time. I've tried using a lead skip like GPS but then a diffrent problem happens, monsters will dye before I land a moebius and so i would have to wait for my leadskip to recharge to do try another chain. Will it get easier to chain further in the game when monsters get stronger? I've been thinking about trying sneak attack as a lead, you think this could work?

Your best bet is Golden Fox-->Wild Strike/Golden Fang-->DB--MS. I don't know where you are, but yes, shit stays alive longer the further you get in the game

i'm not too sure i get it...

if you're never having any time to land a moebius, wouldn't common sense say drop it for something else? you could always use jagged fox dangs dblossom and pull off a chain every 3 seconds, probably just like you're doing right now with similar skills, while making good use out of an elite skill.

No, stuff doesn't actually stay alive long enough even later on, except for the toughest foes. Got so bad my Assassin, when he's not doing Barrage, has moved to using Critical Strike as a finisher (Golden Fox Strike -> Wild Strike -> Critical Strike, which lands just often enough to make sure Critical Eye, Critical Agility, and Critical Defenses trigger). Currently wandering through the non-Moebius elites to find a decent one, Flashing Blades being the one currently on my bar (and will probably be there until I get Shattering Assault).

Best answer is make a WS critscythe, it only takes one hit and you can supply AoE deep wound to your party's damage which is a pretty big help especially if you're running SF heroes or something .

A/D

Wounding Strike
Mystic Sweep
Critical Agility
Way of the Master
Critical Eye

Optional slots for attack skills, rez, asuran scan, a cover enchant, etc etc.

^ that. When enemies are too wimpy for Moebius, go Critscythe.

in HM you shouldn't be having issues with MS/DB so I imagine you're in NM, I recommend you Jagged Strike, Fox Fangs, Death Blossom
