i believe i deserve the money because i am in need of many new skills in order to make more money and further advance in the game of GuildWars. i would use most of the money to unlock skills and capture elite skills, as well as get new armor and upgrades. i would also help out my guildies and allies. this money would help me to help others and myself. i believe i would be able to further advance the playing experience of other players as well as my playing experience. thank you for your time!

You really don't need the money to get those, I've gotten plenty of skills, and regular armor that I've needed just from storyline money (for the most part), you should be fine, if you just continue, I didn't get max armor or many skills for a while.

As I sit here and read through all the posts of the great 150k giveaway, for the most part all are greedy lil bastards who only put forth them self's. I am sad to see a player leave the game , but respect the decision of his choice. I truly believe that one person will actually do something worthwhile with the money and I hope that you find that person. Thanks

I have been playing GW for over 4 years but never really got money..
1st of all: i gave away stuff to friends because they needed it
2nd: when there was a farming build i made that profession then it got nerfed =( so never farmed alot...

what i wanna do with the money:
Having a HUGE party with everyone that wanna come!
Fireworks , Alcohol , party/sweets
giving away ale's and sweets/party to all the party people.....

yeah, so, sup, im Daan, probably one of the worst GW players out there, even tho ive been playing for a little less then 4 years :P I know players who have amassed a fortune in the time that ive played, but my max was 250k in my storage

I like supporting contests that are nice like this!

first of all i would like to have 150k because thats alot of money and i dont have anything good and it could help me get some good armor and some weapons

second i am so dang poor i got like 200g on my whole account

I've been playing GW since the beta! I have to work hard for every item I need/want and have very rarely recieved a giveaway. I rarely get good drops, and when I do they are usually given to guildies or new players that need them. I have never asked for a gold donation, and am always more then happy to donate when I can tell a person really needs it. In my storage and across all my characters, I don't think I've ever had for then 40k at one time.

My armor is not prestige.

I cannot do anything solo very well.

I just want to have fun, but that's surprisingly hard when broke.

I'd really love the 150K to help me set up my own guild. I've been playing GW for the past 51 months and I lament the fact that I haven't been able to find a homely guild in over 2 years!

I'm not a dishonest, disloyal or inexperienced (pve) player and i'd really like the opportunity to build up a group of likeminded friends... because at the moment the guilds i join seem to rise/fall like mustard cress (through no fault of my own!!!) nobody really knows each other and the only 'guild activities' are always filled by the 'usual suspects', with the 'usual builds' and with very little attempt to integrate new members or try new things...

Well, let's see...first of all, I feel rather a lech having my third ever GWG post be an elaborate form of begging, but so be it.

So why do I feel I deserve large quantities of cash from a complete stranger? Largely because I've handed out large quantities in the past. I've owned Guild Wars for all of a month and a half now, and in that span of time have donated ~20-30k to guildmates, many of whom have immediately departed with chunks of my hard-earned money. While that figure may seem small to many veteran players, bear in mind that for a player who's never had more than about the price of one set of prestige armor to his name at any given time, donating 20k or thereabouts is a substantial amount, in particular for someone who is learning the game as he goes, without the aid of rich beneficiaries in the form of friends or alternate accounts.

Furthermore, to say that I've had 75k in the past is somewhat misleading...yes, I've had that figure, but only for long enough to purchase one set of Elite Imperial Armor for my primary character, an Assassin...and I'm still reeling from the blow that dealt my finances, 3 weeks later. A far commoner state of affairs is for me to have somewhere in the vicinity of 6-7k, so having a little extra would certainly come in handy.

Finally, because I don't deserve it. Yes, you read that right. I don't believe myself worthy of having 150k gratuitously bestowed upon me by divine providence (or something like that), and so, should my paltry little missive end up striking a chord, I pledge to IMMEDIATELY turn around and donate 125k of the 150k figure back to the community. Whether in smaller chunks or in a single blowout like this, I'm not sure--but save for a relatively small "finder's fee," the GWG community will be getting this money back all over again. Can't say fairer than that.

Finally finally, because it's pretty funny listening to my thank-you-ever-so-much song-and-dance routine that I go through whenever I'm given anything at all. Makes all the trouble worthwhile somehow.
