Avaith, I would only be guessing if I said black and silver. Silver dye on 15k pyro, which is what my ele has does seem to make it metalic, however there is a hint of purple (base colour) that shows through the dye. On most monk armour, black and silver make a dark silver, of course this doesn't hold for all dye.
My suggestion is to try either black and silver, or black, silver and purple and see how it goes. Only mix it once and test it on the piece of armour where the effect will be most noticeable. I know black is expensive, but the way I figured that black and blue does not make dark blue was to try it.

I slogged through the post hoping to find the answer to my prayer's but to no avail. I think I've spent ~100k trying to make a dark red through the uses of black dyes and whatnot without much luck. Anyway, I'm using it on my female Ranger wearing 15k druids. With the dark red hair nothing really fit's and I refuse to wear armor bought to look nice if it's not nice looking. If you knew any proper combinations for a dark red I'd be very happy. So far I've had a load of purples and pinks that looked washed out.

m0gden: even black looks pretty washed out on 15k druids, so that might be a good indication that a nice solid dark red is simply not possible.

Is the initial post being updated with any new charts and information?
I know I have sent a pm to Fexx offering to model some of my Armor and help provide some of the dye.
I could of course do it myself but I figure some of you already have the experience and worked out a system to know exactly how many of each dye, get shots, edit them together etc.
A list of Armors that I can model:
Ranger (Male):
15K Drakes
15K druids
Fissure (soon)
Ele (Male):
15K Pyro
15K Aero
Warrior (Male):
Fissure
Charr Helm
Lieutenant's Helm
Stonefist Gauntlets
Necro (Male):
15K Scars
15K Tormentors
Fissure
Mesmer (Female):
Droks Enchanters (with Performers? Gloves)
Monk (Female - Dark Skinned): (Would really like to do this one as tats show differently on dark skin v light skin)
Dragon Tats
Droks Star Tats
As I said if anyone would like to have a model, I think getting a really comprehensive guide that is consistent with the way the items are done in the first part would be great! I can help supply the dye. Just ask for your expertise and experience

The original post does still get updated, I have just been lazy recently and not had anything to be added.
I am in the process of finishing the Necro armors right now, and I believe Scutilla has more Warrior stuff.
If you would like to do a section for you Monk tatoos, just message me in-game and I will snap the shots and put them in a chart. It takes 8 of each Dye(including Dye Remover, but not including Black) for each armor piece, this usually costs around 10k.
We can talk more in-game if you want.

I don't have the Warrior stuff, but I do have pics for Necro FoW and Holy Rods (I'll send them over to you eventually, don't worry ). Progress on collecting for the warriors has been very slow since I've been focusing more on saving up for Factions, but I'll try to get those at least done sometime.

No hurry, I understand to need to save some gold for factions.
And thanks to Cherno the Dye mixes on Monk Tatoos for a dark skinned monk will be here soon.

I will be getting to more non-armor items eventually, armors just take my priority.
And for your Mesmer, the chart with the Female Virtuoso should be similiar, if not the same for males(haven't really tested this enough to officialy say anything).

Monk FoW Armor
Does anyone know how to get Monk Ascetic's FoW armor dyed red. I've tried so many different combinations and can't find one.

How peculiar... I replied to a post, but in the time it took me to write the reply the post was moved/deleted...
Fezz, if I see you on AIM tonight I should have the Necro FoW, Warrior 15k Ascalon, and Holy Rod pics (and maybe one other if I get a chance to do it this afternoon) ready to send to you.

Any idea when those dark skinned monk pics are going to be done and updated? I am wanting to maybe change colors again and would like to use that as reference. Also Fezz, I am still available any time you want to do some of the other types as your time permits.
Thanks!

Been real busy with school recently, but I have spring break next week so I should be able to get more work done.
I have managed to get some of the pics sorted out, but I will give those monk pics priority.

NO, Dye remover just acts like the base color of the armor. So on Monk Tatoos it would just be like mixing Blue+Blue+Blue+Blue, or on necro it would be like Blue+Red+Red+Red, etc.
