Hey, I'm not complaining....However it isnt exactly a complete chart without black. I can't even find a picture of female ele FoW armor dyed black anywhere.

Mercurius: Have you checked all through this thread and the older version of it? There may be a pic of Ele FoW dyed Black.

I don't know about the others, but my policy on Black Dyes is; if its something that I really want to see dyed Black(and its mixes) or something that a lot of people want I will consider it. But 9 Blacks per chart is just too expensive to do normally.

I asked for a chart with the colors of the straw effigy but I've done myself. Fezz, you can add it to the list.
There are the basic colors without making any mixture.
I haven't done the black one

, I got some black dyes but they are for my monk armor

I hope MercuriusTerMaxum don't mind I took his/her pic in silver for this chart

I forgot to use remover

but I'll put the chart with it as soon as possible (maybe in 30min)

Well, dye remover does not do any change in color, so that is the chart

I'm currently saving for Ele FoW perhaps I'll dye it black and post it here if I can't find the black pic that was mentioned.

For the record, I've seen FoW ele dyed black, the colour is a kind of shiny dark purple/black, not a true black.

I just found out something quite strange. Apperiantly, different versions of a certain skin can vary when dying them. I was trying out dyes today, and noticed my Silver dye looked different on two of my swords.

The HoD Sword dyed silver (crafted at the old HoD crafter):

The HoD Sword has a bit of a blue-ish tint (which I like).

The +5 Armor Sword (gotten from the Charr At The Gate quest)

The +5 Armor Sword is much more Silver (which I don't like that much).

I'm not sure what causes this, I can think of three things:

As the HoD Sword has been nerfed a long time ago, it's clear that it's been crafted a long time ago. Maybe they just changed how this skin dyed after they nerfed the HoD Sword, but it didn't effect the already excisting weapons of this skin.
They insert a different way of an item dyes depending on where and how you get it. Maybe it's only the fact that I got the +5 Armor sword from a quest, and that it's just totally different from all other sword.
The HoD Sword is actually the Gladius skin, and the +5 Armor sword is actually the Short Sword skin, and those dye different. I've tested a Gladius, which dyes exactly the same as the HoD Sword, but I don't have a Short Sword, can anyone else test this?

I haven't heard of any skin dying in different ways before..

Hello i was wondering if anyone could show me good dye combos with the 15K Enchanters mesmer armor,

I didnt like the dye charts much.. I like how it looks black, I ve seen it, but i think its common cuz everyone dyes their armor black mostly. Anyways, if anyone has any, please id apreciate it ^^.

Also tried the "show off your mesmer" thread but its all mesmer females lol and I need to see Mesmer male.

Well, saying you didn't like the dye charts is rather disappointing, since that's the basis for a lot of dye ideas. And you may want to give a more descriptive idea of a "good dye combo," since you didn't like the ones provided. And many of the Tyrian Mesmer armors dye similarly for both Male and Female, with Male tending to be a tad darker. If you don't like the black dye, pick a couple colors you do like and have at it.

Creativity is the best combo.

im confused on one of the updates on the fow monk armor, does the ascetic armor have revert dye behaviors, or does all the obsidian monk armor types have revert dye behavior, and i think i read in a recent update taht they fixed this but im not too sure,

can anyone please varify this for me before i go looking through several pages and paragraphs of text?

From what understand: Monk FoW armor from before Factions will Dye like the Chart(I think its the same for all types), and Monk FoW armor from the release of Factions onward will Dye like normal Monk Armors(relatively the same for all variety).

Its possible they changed it back recently, but I haven't heard about it and I kind of doubt they would.
