I am just wondering, I assume you can change the stats of a pvp reward armor right, runes inscriptions, that kinda fun stuff...
Now normal armor changes to either one of the selected dye colours when doing this right?

Now heres the thing, enthausiast as I was, I unlocked my pvp ele a nice reward item and dyed it to her hair colour..... Now I am wondering ... if I change the runes or inscriptions in my dyed armor, will my colour be resetted to one of the defaults again?
I don't dare to try to be honest (being a cheap ass) so wondering if anyone already tried this?

If this is the case, - meaning, if the changing of the stats actually resets dye - this really seems to be an other major flaw in the reward points system to be honest.

BTW, armor can't have inscriptions, they have insignias. Did you dye it with a vial of dye or with the default number of dyes PvP armor has available? I THINK If you dyed it with a vial of dye, it'll change to whatever colors PvP armors have available in the equipment screen.

So far the only skin I've seen that doesn't drop in PvE is the Sephis Sword.

Granted, some of these skins are only obtainable on one or two greens and not on random drops, but they're there.

oh noes PvP gets some new skins

Given that you have to basically buy these with reward points and keep them on PvP characters which you can't delete if you want to keep the stuff, i don't see the big deal. Its a way for pvp players to finally get some skins without having to PvE which many PvPers don't like at all. Its a pretty big grind to get the stuff (must unlock 40 basic weapons before you can even see the next rarity level. Thats 400 reward points i beleive). You basically have to dedicate slots to permanent PvP characters which you can't use in any other game context.

The Sephis Sword was already posted on Guru, but it was deleted for not being part of the real discussion.

Could whomever originally posted that list of Fancy weapons post the entire list for each weapon type? It seems that some weapons are missing Daggers are missing completely, for example, and the warrior lists seem to have been cut off. (A list of the Exotics would also help, but I don't think we'll be seeing that for a while )

I've been going through matching up names with skins, but there are a few that still elude me. If anyone has some Reward Points to burn and wants to help out, pictures of the following skins would be greatly appreciated

Basic Weapons:
  • Banded Staff
  • Mossy Walking Stick
  • Meditative Staff
  • Lesser Istani Staff
  • Canthan Machete
  • Kournan Sword
  • Spawning Wand (Torsen1, you said there were two skins with that name? In that case I only have one of the two skins)
  • Channeling Rod (same as Spawning Wand)
  • Elegant Wand
  • Juju Scepter

Fancy Weapons:
  • Skullcrest Focus
  • Woven Focus
  • Militia Shield
  • Labyrinthine Spire
  • Shark Staff
  • Istani Staff
  • Onyx Staff
  • Wyvern Blade
  • Canthan Shortsword
  • Seahorse Scepter
  • Kaineng Wand
  • Silver Dragon Cane
  • Viridian Scepter
  • Ancient Rod

Once I get a complete enough list, I'll probably create a separate Community Works thread with a gallery.

So once, an item is unlocked, it can only be used by that one character right?

You don't unlock an item you buy an item. The armor is bound to the character. Weapons can be transfered through your heroes to other characters.
