Ah it's made to ignore 100, 250, and 500+ XP updates due to the fact those are given for quests and other misc stuff. I can fix that in a few weeks when I'm back in town.

Ah that must be why it triggered on a 400xp quest reward... One in Beacon's Perch iirc

Fantastic mod btw, should be great at VoD for mass archer massacre, can't wait

Having never played UT, I was clueless as to what these sounded like... I found this little flash soundboard that helped quite a bit. =)

Do you get XP for killing them at all? It should work on everything you kill, or get XP for being near by as it's killed.

When I get back in town in April (I'm a truck driver so I'm often gone for 2+ weeks at a time, I'm using freeby internet at a hotel atm) I'll be changing the way it works and start working on a Mod Development Kit so anyone with a bit of programming experience can create mods. You can read more about it in this post here: http://www.guild-hall.net/forum/show...6&postcount=43

Hmm, just wondering before I use it, how much computer memory does this take up? AKA if you were to get a chain of 10 kills in a mass AoE (all at the same time), would it slow down the computer? I run all my settings on high, even while I'm in GvG/HA my computer doesn't slow down at all (except for right when all the teams come in range of each other and there's a small lag spike).

This is great that GW is entering the phase where it can be modded to some extent.

...and so far nobody has seen any complaints from ANet? IIRC, they used to be banning people senselessly for using "third party programs" integrated with GW.

Speaking of which, is this program like an .exe that you need to start up, or like a little .dll that won't attract much attention? Also, does it run inside the game, as a separate application, etc?

Other than that, keep up the good work.

I just used this in game, wow, haha. I'm keeping this for good (maybe taking it off if there's a GvG, but even then.)

Eldin, this is a litte .dll that doesn't really do anything, in fact, you never even open it! Just unzip it, drag it into the Guild Wars folder. Then, the next time you run guild wars and go kill something, you'll hear a "Headshot".

Doesn't seem to work.
At all.

What gives?
It just beeps up some message about "unable to auto-update"... then starts GW as normal. No sound difference. Nothing.

yea took it off because i got tired of clicking that off.

Just curious are you going to make any different sound mods in the future? Thatd be sweet if you had like mortal combat ones or something. You get close to killing someone and it says FINISH HIM! Or you kill them and its like Fatality, Brutality, blah blah blah.

Guessing anet's sound- and netcode changes blew this up.
edit: it is fixed, see http://guild-hall.net/forum/showpost...9&postcount=73
