Very interesting idea, I have modded games for years, it's great if you can get this going without any legal restrictions.

k i took a good couple hours {including downloading updates) trying to get this all set up and when i get to the file server editing and starting part i get an error lol. Anyone have a server going that they can give some info on how to join up lol, would be interested in a dedicated one.

i downloaded latest server or w/e, extracted to D disc, and there are 3 maps now...FileServ, GameServ, LoginServ, anyone can explain me what to do now?

It's too damn hard for me to connect. My GameServ or LoginServ crashes all the time and I have no idea what's wrong. I have wasted a lot of my time... Guess I'l wait until it will be easier to use.

K i got my shit working, with the server, but it wont let you go into explorable zones, and there arent NPC's. so this is about all I can do:

Lvl 255, and fireworks, and a GM with lowercase name and a ? but thats ez, i need more admin commands, and I would also like to learn how to set my hero rank to 12, or 15 for that matter?

Release it under CNU GPL (v2 or 3) and open source it. It'll be a huge success if it's a server emulator like how WoW has Ascent and Mangos.
