Iceman, go Death level outside of the Abbey.
Arcanus, yes, according to Gaile Gray, you keep it, I asked myself.
As to the vamps, they ARE obtainable but they are very rare. Dual modded weapons are also a possible drop.
and Lime, grats! Is King Of Tut in your guild?

Just wondering because i saw your guild tag, [KING] and that tut guy has the same tag. He has a level 20 in Pre and says he has a second.

Only one of them will lvl up which sucks but I guess having more would help kill you quicker. Exit Ashford and turn right, you should see 2-3 moas near the res shrine (not the ones around thebeautiful feather) if u attack them and then go to the res shrine then will stay in your aggro.

So is there anyway to determine which moa will be the one that is going to level? I ask that because if I could possibly make the decision as to which moa to have leveled, I would target the one closer to the rez shrine in case one runs away.
And the moas are also striders Crelty.

Since you would probably go afk during Dlvling the one you would lvl would be the one that keeps coming back so it wouldnt really matter. If that answers your question monachus

The only thing I can say is ANet ought to fix this so you can get the title a 'regular' way rather than cheating the system. Or remove the title. Either way, make it fit within the parameters of normal title-goal-achievement.
I'm guessing its a hold-over from some previous epoch of GW that involved real quests for Gwen, Rotscale, etc?

Yeah, I agree that they should make it more achievable. But then again, it was a very logical title. Think about it. The title is called The Legendary Defender of Ascalon. If anyone wants to get to level 20, they would have killed the charrs in the Northlands a thousand times over. Thus, you also beat the game a thousand times over. So in conclusion, you are The Legendary Defender of Ascalon and you’ve just skipped the rest of the game. But from this, you know that death leveling has nothing to do with defeating the charrs. So…they must make leveling to 20 somewhat logical and not like what it is now.
Just a thought.

Hmmm no I think it's called that because Anti (first to hit 20) used to death level off of the Charr. Anti would pull all the Charr to the shrine (which is 20+) and afk, later killing them. I suppose ANet saw Anti's mass extermination of Charr as defending ascalon. Now if this holds true, in actuality Anti is really the only one who would truly gain this title. Since shortly after there was an AI update and Charr could no longer be pulled to the shrine. But since there are 3 others who are 20 in pre,and I saw Merciless with the title, it is my belief that is does directly have to do with the Charr, seeing as the only way to gain efficent levels after 8 is to go over the Northlands and 'Charr hunt", thus you are defending ascalon.

but it will only work if you have warrior as a prof, weather it's primary or secondary it doesn't matter.
That is to run guild wars, with an auto clicker program in the backrogund which can be gotten from the following site :
http://www.freewareweb.com/cgi-bin/archive.cgi?ID=1506
Then setting the click delay to 9 seconds, you can lure the moa birds to the res shrine, and then leave the cursor over frenzy and it'll do the rest, leaving you free to do other past times like...... gardening, or collecting carrot tops (I have quite a collection now :P) This way you take double damage.
Like I said, it won't shave too much time off the overall amount, but it will take a bit away, and every little helps...
This may also work with the Necro when sacrificing health, but I haven't tried that out...
Just had another idea about the same program, if you have the on screen keyboard up at the same time, you can use the program to click space, thus running to any enemy selected at the time, which means you can run to the same group of char over and over, so you don;t been a bot or anything.
and a thrid and final thought, so you can get the benefit of having frenzy on, so you die faster, and you run to the same enemy, if you have frenzy in slot 1, set the space bar to use slot 1 from the options menu, that way both will happen and you can then carry on with your life without having the problem of the moas running away leaving you standing like a lemon.

Don't run macros. If you can't death level the normal way, dont do it at all.

Keeping my pet
I have a warrior without it's secondary chosen yet, but I have the ranger skills and a pet. If I were to do all of the other profession quests, that would mean that I would have to get rid of my ranger skills. If I did the ranger profession last and took it would I get my same pet back at the level he was at? Or would I have to capture a new pet and train it all over again?

I think you would have to get a new one. But that's not a worry if you dont mind Death Leveling a Moa to level 20 then charming it

Can't you choose not to accept the profession skills?
"No thanks, I'll keep the Ranger skills," or something?
It's been a while since I did all those quests so I don't remember, but if this is the case, you could still do all the secondary prof quests whilst keeping your ranger skills (and thus your pet), before taking your secondary profession.
I know that's the case in Factions, at least, but I don't remember if it's so in Prophecies...

Yes you would get your pet back at the same lvl. I've done it a few times.
