I'm nearly done with the next update... I think I will release it tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.
Besides "Elonian Treasures", I added lots of your corrections

Thanks to all of you, my friends...

w00t for updates.

Yesterday I was clearing maps out for sunspear points. It would be useful to have Shrines on the map to see which ones grant which bonus. I find myself having your tool open whenever I'm on now, looking at the zone I'm in on your tool before going in to explore, in case I wanna do anything there. <3

I'm not sure if you're already aware of this, but The Afflicted Hsin Jun, a mesmer boss in the Unwaking Waters mission in Cantha is listed as having Migraine, a Prophecies skill. His elite is Stolen Speed.

Thanks for the awesome and oh so helpful application.

Found this guy last night whilst i was out slumming around the marketplace in cantha.

http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Shen%2C_the_Magistrate

He is just west of the market place in the little dock place that sticks out above wajjun bazaar.

Edit:
Of course you can also see that in the map on wiki DOH

Aylee,

I just downloaded and replaced ver 1.7 with 1.8. Now I am getting runtime error. '481' invalid picture.

I tried downloading it again but I get the same error. Any suggestions?

EDIT: I figured it out. For some reason I had to delete the enitire folder and start from scratch. Saving over the previous version was causing the problem. I made a backup of the chars and just transfered them back into the new folder.

At least....
MAPPINGOUT v1.9 is OUT!!

Just click the update button to download it (I wish!!)

Here's the news:

Update 2007 February, 04
- adjusted position and request of the collector Poti (by udoh)
- added the possibilty to track elonian treasures capturing status (by RodyPA, Kaolla)
- replaced "Migraine" skill with the correct "Stolen speed" in Jade Sea (by Siegfried Nimbelungun)
- added elite skill "Energy Surge" to The Darknesses in the Ruins of Tomb of Primeval Kings (by Siegfried Nimbelungun)
- fixed "Tomb of the Primeval Kings" green staff, with 20% skill recharge time (by sykoone)
- Churrta the Rock now shows the quest info on the map and into description popup window (by udoh)
- correct "Unyielding Aura" skill name... previous listed without a "i"
- added locations for Kaia Wupwup in Talus Chute, with "Unyielding Aura" elite skill (by Siegfried Nimbelungun)
- added the green staff "Woe Spreader" to "Xiriss Stickleback" in the Archipelagos (by Myote)
- added another location for "Shadow Form" in Sunjiang District (Explorable) (by Myote)
- Ritualist Spawning Staff, owned by Dye master Franjeck in Maatu keep, is now shown as a two-handed weapon and no longer as a one-handed one (by Udoh)
- added an "Options schedule", containing informations and a few customizable features
- ripped off the "Quit button" at the botton of the menu window. The reason is simple: we gain space for the lists . Moreover, since I moved the other buttons in the "Options" schedule, the "Quit button" told me it felt very lonely. By the way, every time I want to close the program, I move my mouse cursor to the left-bottom side of the window, as I used to do before the "Quit button" abandoned us.
- replaced the lackness left by the "Quit button" departure with a "x" button on the right-top of the menu window (just a duplicate of the one already presents on the map window)
- added the possibilty to choose if right click on an object is necessary or not (by Fallen Eagle)
Moreover, the mouse behaviour changed like this:
- left click on map to move it
- double click on map to create a new note
- double click on an object on the map (elite, treasure, note) to manage it

You took the words right out of my mouth. I was dreading having to go through and write down all the elites I had left to cap since I sidetracked myself from it.

Excellent tool! Keep up the great work!

Ran across a little problem. Whenever I play on this computer, I run the resolution at 1280x1024. Other people who use this computer use it at it's 1024x768 default. But when I'm running it at that size and I open Mapping Out and stretch the image to fit my bigger screen, and then get off and turn the resolution lower again, anyone who uses the program will only see like three quarters of the map box, and they cannot rescale it manually nor drag the box around via the upper left corner to fix it.

So if possible, could you fix it to where it will automatically rescale to fit your screen if its settings were beyond what my screen would allow, or at least let people mess with the box's size in different ways (perhaps a 'revert' button or something to change it all back to default size).

^_^

Kaolla,
I will fix it in the next version, together with some way to better manage the "elite locations list"... quite often too small, compared to the number of lines in it

Bithor the Dog,
I'm glad you met that boss... but, well, I didn't get what you were trying to tell me ... It's already present in MappingOut... Maybe the boss isn't fine or feel loney. But I don't really think you wanted to point that out!
Sigh!

I forgot to ask about something else. Could you include an "Always on top" option so when I play in windowed mode it'll stay there while I'm doing things? Thx if so

Wow, fantastic program! Can't believe it took me this long to find it. Thanks!

A little feedback:
Yes, an always on top would be great!
The 4 or 5 skills you can cap from A Land of Heroes Quest as well as a few other Elites from Istan are not on the Map. There is an ele boss directly south of the fort in Issnur Isles that has Icy Shackles.

Would love to see explorable zone weapon crafters as well.

I have to say, Aylee, Excellent job here.

Before i have been using spreadsheet documents to try and log all the elites i have on different characters, now i can do it all within Mapping Out!.

Oh, and i can also look at where the elites are im going to cap whilst im sat at work!

Overall, great job ^^

Buried Treasure in Ruptured Heart is in the wrong place. it should be immediately north of that little yellow 'finger' of sulfur. =)

I offer my heartfelt thanks for your hard work. MappingOut is awesome!

Cherno,
It's quite strange you don't see those elites... They are included in MappingOut. Check your MappingOut version. Latest is v1.9.0. If you have an old-dated one, press the update button to get the upgrade.
If you have alredy updated the program, well, let me know! There should be something wrong somewhere

Mournblade,
I see, I placed it wrongly... And I'm actually asking how could I have done that... It's the ONLY treasure I have alreay opened... and I placed it in the wrong location?!?!? Oh my god!!!
Anyway... thanks

Did they update and it looks great!
