Default Full-scale Grandmaster Cartography Map Aid

So what's left for an obsessive person to do once they've achieved Grandmaster Cartographer but spend a while screenshotting it and photoshop-stitching it together???

I know in the "New Titles" thread there have been people with difficulties finding what they're missing, and I know I found the zoomed-out maps mostly helpful but sometimes lacking, so I thought I'd contribute this gem to the community. The rad, pink arrows point to regions I know can be revealed, but that I haven't bothered to reventure to. Other areas could be missing, but what's shown is good enough to get you that 100%. Green arrows point to areas that are Pvp-only arenas, or that used to be Pvp arena staging grounds and are no longer accessible (since now everything is on the battle isles).

If you do find something that you have more complete than my own map, let me know!

[Note: I'd recommend right click-save as, since it's a 5.5mb jpeg]

Zoomed-out maps:
1280x1024 jpeg
1280x1024 bitmap

Just as an FYI, I know I am missing two spots in Lornar's Pass, one tiny dot in Snake's Dance, another dot in Grenth's Footprint, a smidge in Frost Gate, a bit of the Gates of Kryta island chain. All of these are on my to-do list. If you find any OTHER spots, lemme know! Thanks.

edit: Running list of thanks: Hengis Stone, Carinae Dragonblood, Buzzer, Evilsod, nickthemenace, ophidian409 for suggested areas of further mapping improvement.

Omg, I thought I was a perfectionist, but this is WAY too far, you must have spent hours achieving that. gj

Asolutely awesome!

This will certainly help me find the final 4% that I am missing!

I do have one little area on my map that you seem to have missed though.

At the very south of the D'Alessio Seaboard mission there is a chain of islands with Sand Drakes on the beach. I am pretty sure you can go further south than is shown on your map. I think I filled in about 0.2% in that area.

I am at work at the moment to I can't attach a screen shot, but if you have trouble finding where I mean I will attach a screen shot for you tonight.

Regards,

Hengis

That's great! I thought you had to reveal every single nook and cranny of the map to get to the 100%. I was about to give up because I was sick of following along all the outside walls all the time.

Forever in your debt, Leighwyn

BTW, I noticed you've also uncovered the shroud above the random arena's, do they count towards the 100% too?

Thanks alot. I would never think of me having about another 0.5% to explore in Borliss Pass ^^ Going there immidiatly.

I hope I'll get to 100% soon, still have 6% to go..

Here's a 100% fully explored map by TC Fish that has been uploaded to the gallery.

Awesome. Thanks for doing this.

I have noticed that everyone who has 100% was able to get the old arena areas uncovered. That really screws those of us who didn't get there before they closed them. Especially someone like me who only needs .3%

Didn't realize a 100% had been uploaded already. I still enjoyed making this one though And mine may not have labels, but it is cloud and shadow free, which I feel helps If you have 90ish% revealed I'm willing to bet you know where everything is by looks anyway heh

And in reply to Arduinna, I don't know if it counts or not but I don't believe it completely matters since that "staging" area of RA was pretty small, and there are areas I didn't map. Just seems like a trade-off if it turns out that the area is part of the percentage.

Yeah it seems like the old Droknars Team Arena is still counting towards it.

Man this map is really helping my pc slow down...

Very nice job btw

Edit: The solution to Windows Viewer and Adobe Photo Viewer was simple.

MS Paint ftw! Microsoft actually developed somet useful for once

I don't believe the OP's map nor TC Fish's map are fully complete. However, I'm sure they are 100% Grandmasters (as am I, and I KNOW I'm missing two little spots)

To the OP: Look between The Great Northern Wall and Piken Square. You can get all of the fog there, except one dot the size of a dime.

There seems to be about .3% leeway, where you can get the Title withoput uncovering the whole TRUE 100%.

I wonder if the arenas count as BONUS areas, and they make up that .3%, so if you map the arenas, you get a little room to miss a spot here or there.
