Default Cap your way to Survivor! An Elite Cap Guide

Hi Everyone,

In preparing for the double XP capture weekend I did an excel spreadsheet that has been designed to help players attain their survivor title in a weekend using elite captures. The spreadsheet includes the campaign, profession, who to cap it from, where they are, and the difficulty. The difficulty is ranges from one to five stars. One star caps being the easiest. I based the difficulty rating on two things.

1) distance to the boss from the nearest outpost due to the time constraints of capping that many skills in a weekend.
2) the general difficulty of all foes in that area.

I've added a section for you to fill in if you player already has the skill so you don't wast time, and a notes section as well that may offer some help in certain scenarios.

Hope you have fun getting survivor in a weekend using elite captures!

Enjoy!

thanks!, I not so much would use it for my survivor as it (in my opinion) is much easier to farm doing vaettirs.
but for my title the spreadsheet is awesome!

Just wanted to throw in my two cents that this is a very easy way to get your survivor title. I just did it last weekend with just the regular 5k experience, so with the double bonus it will be even easier.

You also might want to change the Earth Shaker cap. By far the most accessible one is:

Quivering Blade is also a little quest dependent because you can't have that "Seek out Brother Tsai" quest active (which a lot of people do because it keeps in Am Fah in Wajjun Bazaar friendly). You need to go to the next step in that quest chain to make the Am Fah hostile toward you again.

Very nice, thanks. I'm going to use it on both my accounts. It also helps you feel less like you're doing nothing.

Thanks for the heads up on quivering blade Voodoo. I didn't know that. It's funny you mention Carnak because I originally had him in the document, but changed it later on because I was worried someone may want to use it who doesn't yet have War in Kryta opened up. I suppose that is a long shot but you never know with secondary characters and such. Thanks for your input!

Cheers!

They give just as much in both HM and NM, but I would suggest NM since that means the risk of dying is lower.

It would take 133.7 captures to go from 0 xp to 1337500 that is required for t3 survivor.
With the double weekend that is. Without it, it would be 267,5
