Exclamation Game Freezes

Okay, this is happening very often. The game freezes, then my monitor goes black, and my computer freezes. Control + alt + delete does nothing, nor does any other key. I have to press the restart button on the computer for my computer to do anything. Is it something with my system?

I have an Athlon 64 3000+ processor, a Zenith Value Edition VNF-3-250 Chaintech motherboard, ATI Radeon 9800 pro video card, an Ultra 600 watt ATX power supply, and 1 gig DDR2 ram. I also use windows 2000 operating system.

I have already tried doing the windows 2000 repair, but that didnt fix anything. Is there anything i can do to fix this problem? Please help soon, I really like this game and want to play it this weekend.

***EDIT***
I should also mention that I have had a similar problem with my Americas Army game but the screen just immediately goes black. It doesnt happen nearly as often on Americas Army though.

This may sound strange, but you don't have the 2000 server edition do you? Server has a lot of trouble running computer games. Particularly 2003 server.

You may want to install recent and updated drivers for everything. Motherboard, video card, ect... If you got a cd with drivers, go online and get updated versions of those drivers. Another thing, what is your screen refresh rate?

http://ati.com (definitely want the most recent catalyst driver.

Send me your guest pass .

Unhappy

I'll try downloading the latest drivers, I never thought of that

This is a "screenshot" of what it looked like the last time it froze:

***EDIT***
I would give you my friends pass, but it is already used

***EDIT of the EDIT***
It is 2000 professional edition.

It very well might be your video drivers. A lot of problems can be fixed by merely installing updated drivers. When I first got my ATI 9200, they gave me the wrong drivers and my computer would lock up.

Looks like either video drivers or your card is overheating.

If the drivers didn't work, I would make sure that one of the power couplings is plugged into your video card.
