Why is it assumed
that everyone uses a mouse with a scroll wheel?
I for one never have and don't plan on it. Sadly, this appears to be the oonly way you can zoom in and out in GW. No keys

Yeah, that is kind of annoying. Can you not bind any keys to zoom in/out? For some reason pretty much every game treats my wheel like it's retarded....works sometimes, not others... but there's gotta be....a bind.....right?

i zoom in and out without a wheel
fool around with the view a bit no problem

I belive and i may be wrong because i never use it taht you can right click then move your mouse forward or backword to zooom also. At the very least their is another way to do it even if i can't remmber exactly how
.

You're right, it is kinda stupid that you can't change bindings, but my guess is it'll be in the full version.
But why will you never buy a scroll wheel mouse? I bought a 15 euro logitech mouse and it always works fine. by the way: don't the + and - buttons work? Well in the same subject, why can't I reassign my mice buttons to something else?
Am used to walk/run with Mouse right-click button - I never had to go thru a game which would prevent me from doing so - GW is the first which does not let the mice buttons to be reconfigured - I think this plain sucks personally... However I noticed that if you pressed BOTH right and left click buttons, you can then move around and run/walk at the same time - pressing 2 buttons at the same time is not good - would have like to have freelook+run configured on right-click mouse button... Not too happy about that... Sorry for deviating... |
