Default anyone else have this probem

anyone else have this probem, you playing the game and all of a sudden the ground turns into green andl black square's?

prob a vid card thing or game quality settings.
what vid card and latest drivers? or try lower or higher settings if diff results.

That is a video card setting, if you have a ATI card, open up the display, then click advanced button, this should take you to your card manager. Look for the two tabs OpenGL, and Direct 3D. If the slide bar is in the middle, bump them over one. In the game I suggest setting the refresh to 60 Hz, anti-aliasing X4 if you want a picture that stays clear, you should be able to run high setting now to the max, so kick that over to the max. If you do not have any graphical rendering problems when moving then you are okay. Sometime the land will go black, if that happens you can set the game video settings a notch either down, or move it down temporally and back up.

Try to switch back to the Desktop and then back to the game.
now the grafik should be correct, for a while..

thanks for that, i have a GF4Ti4200 cpu 3ghz plenty of ram. i thought it could handle everything turned up.

ill let you know how these sugestions go.

Your video card will not let you have the max settings. Its an old card. Try getting the latest drivers for it and see how you go.

Must be old drivers, unless it's an old card then yeah... it's the problem.

I'm running mine with everything on high quality and anti alias X4 without lag problems or anything else.

I have a Hercules 3D Prophet 9800XT 256MB though
