Default DXSHAD.CPP Error

I have this very odd problem occuring... sometimes I will play for 2 hours with no problems, other times it will take 15 minutes before I get the error.

The reason this is such a pain in the junk is if I am in a mission, there is no way for me to rejoin my group in the mission. Thus rendering me useless.

I have had an occasional blue screen here and there, but 80% of the time I drop to windows (client closes) with an error that points to:

DXSHAD.CPP

I did send in the Error Report, but does anyone have any prior experience with this file, call, or procedure failing?

Is that a direct X problem? Do you have the latest version of directx? Its DX9c.

Yes according to my DXDIAG I am running 9.0c. I even tried to "reinstall" DX but it said all files were properly up to date.

Someone did mention that the DXSHAD could have something to do with the Shaders, and suggested that I put "-noshaders" in my GW icon.

I didn't seem to have much luck with that.
