Default what is a good sound Card for TS

I have been Playing Guild Wars since the Feb Beta and Live for 3 days now. Our Guild Just got a New TS server so I will be on TS a lot. The problem is My sound card is old and crappy. I have a SB Live and on TS my Guild-Mates have informed me that my voice sounds like a robot half the time. So I need a new sound card. What is a good one for TS and Guild Wars while at the same time not a lot of money. Also do I even need a new card or is there a SB Live driver update thet will do the trick. Need Help Thanks

If you want a nice TeamSpeak experience, I suggest the Plantronics DSP-500. It's a USB sound device, with an inline sound card. This will allow you to tell Team Speak to use your Headset for your Team Speaking while the rest of your system defaults to your system sound, (whatever that maybe).

To tell Team Speak which device to use do the following

1. Select Settings.
2. go to Options. (at the bottom of the options window you will see a device frame, this has input device and output device. You will need to set these to the same device. In my case I use Plantronics Headset.
3. Select OK

I have been using mine for a year now, and they are comfortable and have supurb sound quality.

I hope this helps.

it's kind of pricey, at $57 bucks, but it's money well spent. The quality and comfort really can't be beat. I have tried the logitech wrap arounds (before I got the collectors edition) and they hurt until you break your head and ears into the phones.

I spend alot of time in Teamspeak from playing other MMOs and these phones are comfortable enough that you forget they are there.

the place I got mine was ZipZoomFly.com they have 2nd day delivery in the US and no sales tax in most states.
