agreed. I don't have any problems, other than my system being a little slow itself, and I built this bad boy all on my own. Store bought PC's are useless.

Infact, I'd say that they're geared to be faulty so the store can get more money on repairs.

Well, I have a Dell Dimension 8300, 3.4 Pentium 4, GeForce FX 5200, 1012 RAM. Got it from Dell, obviously. The monitor is a 19-inch Samsung flat-panel I got on sale at Circuit City. I haven't had a problem running any game since I got it. Beats me why everyone else seems to have such problems.

Btw, first post, nice to meet you all.

I custom built my computer myself, but I'm still having issues. Buggy software can most definitely be the source of issues.

I wouldn't call this software buggy, because it works fine for me. I'd say however, that it's not yet as widely compatible as it should be.

Thank the lord for Consoles

People who custom build their PC's are techinally smarter then those who just buy from a store. Not everyone in the world has the knowledge of "Ok, if I plug this into here, will it work?" If people knew the answer to questions like that, there would never be a need for prebuilt PC's.

Even buying custom parts and having someone else put it together doesn't mean it will work properly. Sometimes the hardware just doesn't like you.

No technical issued I've seen at all cept for some lockups(read on). One thing I think many people need to do is update their video card drivers. I built my own PC and i run the game almost at full throttle(my video card sux)

My specs
AMD 3200+ 64
1gig Dual Channel pc 3200 RAM
Nvidia 5200 Asylum Edition Overclocked <-(prolly to much lol)(I get short lockups sometimes, over clock about 20% )
All runing on a 1600mhz FSB (eat it intel)
My video card is dated, im opting for an Nvidia 6600GT (seems the best performance to price ratio on the market IMHO)

"Everyone" doesn't have issues. Most of the tens of thousands of players in the game do not. But 85% of the people who do are posting about it on forums, oftentimes multiple times.

I have a nearly 3 year old Dell (as of June 05) and the game runs flawlessly.

512 mb ram (came with the machine)
celeron processor running at 2.6
125 mb nvidia gc (year old)
win xp with all updates patches and whatnot (cept ffor spII, its suicide)

I have no issues at all except occasional lag, and some random choppy spats, but thats to be expected. My machine is also turned on 24/7.

My other machine is a brand new one, but I don't use it for gaming much. If I put this game on that one, I might not be able to see what im doing for the speed :P

Well I run every other game I've tried just fine on my custom built. I was having bad crash issues before the patch and now that those seem to be fixed, I'm having another issue. But this is this company's first game, so I'm not really shocked at all the problems people are having.

I'm running a 3000+ 64 @2700 MHz, 1 GB PC4400, and an overclocked 6600 GT (all water cooled, too) and I have an Err=7 issue with my overclock occasionally, and the can't both connect error... but that may be our network...

I recently tried building 2 computers, and both came with faulty motherboards. Then I bought another motherboard to test the Sempron I was using for the Socket A machine, no response. Personally I'm getting pretty tired of dealing with building them at all.

I don't recommend buying mass-produced computers ever though. Bad juju. However, I'm contemplating just getting a Shuttle, and never installing another motherboard again.

What's really sad about this is that I work in a computer repair shop. Anyone ever find that computer techs can solve everyone else's computer problems, but never their own?

I have a Shuttle, it's my gaming box (literally, the only things installed on it are CoH and GW). I bought it barebones and put everything in myself. Configured it myself. Love it to death. Run's CoH perfectly. Ran Doom 3, HL2 and WoW perfectly when they were all installed. Run's GW perfectly too.... when it's not locking up or rebooting my computer.

This is a problem with the game. It is caused by some change they made in between the second to last BWE and the last one. It obviously doesn't affect everyone, but those of us who are affected by it are pretty pissed off.

I'm at a point where I can't advance any further because I can't stay on long enough to complete a Co-op. Fun.

let me state that i have a 86 camaro and i didnt know the first thing about cars or camaros in general , and now im working on either finely tuning the camaro or just fixing it up to sell it and needless to say ive learned the ins and outs of the old school f-body style camaros

same with pcs i didnt know nothing and then you experiment or ask questions, but retail pcs are POS , i have a issue with a friends case that was shhipped, thats because ups i think blew it up before it came to my house because the front panel is blown apart ...literally lol

The FX cards are buggy. Just do some 'spring' cleaning and virus scan, defrag, uninstalling useless programs. Things might work out better.

unless ur a computer tech, my fx card is smoking i get like 100 fps anywhere in anything no experience of lag , when i go maxed out on specs for the like directx 9.0c stuff i notice issues but thats because of the fact that um ..its a card from like 3 years ago? COME ON GUYS bAGeZES!
