I have a weird install bug. First when I try to install the game from the disc it freezes at 1%, the installer and my computer. I have to hit the power button on my PC. What's weird though is just to test I decided to run the game, and the game runs fine! I can't understand it. Not only did I not get any further than 1% into the installation, I didn't even insert the second disc, but I can play the game almost perfectly. The only thing missing seems to be the aura I'm supposed to have. I bought the special edition boxset. Anyone know why this is? I was thinking about submitting it to the offical support site, but I'm not sure if they'd be able to reproduce it and what I should send them to submit the bug. I can't take a screenshot since the bug freezes my system. If I just continue playing is there anyway to add the aura to my character, or whatever it is I'm supposed to get for having the boxset? I swear this is the wierdest bug I've ever seen, I don't know how I can play when the files weren't installed on my machine.

That 1% probably installed the gw client. With the beta you installed a 64kb file and it auto downloaded any content your game didn't have. Whats happening to you is just guild wars probably downloading everything you need as you play. When you first loaded into ascalon did you notice the loading screen downloading something and when you went into an area for the first time.

Although there does seem to be something wrong with your discs and you should get them checked out. You should still be able to play the game just fine but I know nothing about the aura.

Yea, I did load a lot when I first started, Ascalon was 26MB if I remember correctly. Luckily I have 2MB Cable so downloading 26 MB on the fly takes about a minute. By having the disks checked out do you mean return them? That might be a problem since I have the special edition, I would think many people would be sold out. I'll try and post something on the official site though and see if I can get it worked out, thanks.
