University Proxy
Does anyone know if you can play guild wars through a University Proxy? Is there an option somewhere to enter the proxy details to bypass it?
I really want to know this so I can buy and play this game. |

Hi there,
I am behind a uni proxy and i have no problems connecting. I havent changed anything either with my system or GW itself. As soon as i installed it it worked. Im not sure what port GW uses though... |

It really depends on how locked down the connection is - if they're fascists and have it set up so you can -only- connect to websites and then, only by going through their proxy, you're kinda SOL.

I know it uses port 6112 after you've logged in.
