Default This game eats my resources

I have to re-boot for evey mission (about 1 hr)..if I forget, I'll start to lag half way thru' the 2nd mission and then ultimately freeze up and thats the end for me.
Other games I have played 12 hours straight without any problems, but not this one. I'm sure I just run out of memory, like there's a drain.

2.8 cpu
1 gig DDR ram
ATI Radeon 9600 xt video 128 megs
Abit Guru AN7 mboard
Wireless internet connect (never any problem).
No ICQ or TeamSpeak running.

The game runs full graphics with no problem, and the first mission is always as smooth as silk..2nd mission will start to lag a little half way thru, and then it gradually gets worse untill I freeze up.

Any ideas whats causing this ?

Dr Wu.
