Default Can't get past connecting... at random times

This is a problem that just randomly happens for me. I can log on just fine, and play fine, however when I try and enter a new area, sometimes the area doesn't load and the status stays at "Connecting..." meaning I have to reboot the program, where it then proceeds to work fine.

This gets EXTREMELY annoying - I just went through a quest, and then when I went to the next part of it this happened, meaning I have to go through the quest again.

Sometimes I'll not have this happen for hours, other times it happens within 5 min.

Anyone have any suggestions of what might be wrong?

...please, anyone have any ideas of what's going on?

I think it might be a problem with my router... I'm using a Linksys wireless router, don't know which type but yeah... I don't get any errors so d'you think it could be my connection?

NOTE: I only have this problem with Guild Wars, everything else works fine with my router.

I only know of one specific router problem. If you login to your router you can go to Trigger/forwarding settings. Look for a service called Starcraft. It's there by default, delete it and restart your system. See if that works. Before everyone fries me for mentioning the starcraft service, I KNOW that it's a totally different problem that he's having, but this might just cause it.

It could also have to do with your TCP IP settings. Are you set up for a dynamic IP? or are you set up for a Static IP?

I used to have problems with it just logging me out. I also had "ip address conflict with another computer on your network" pop up alot. I read my IP, DNS and DHCP settings, then I setup a static IP using those numbers...everything was fine. I recently switched back to Dynamic and it's been smooth sailing.

I hate my Linksys router.
