Hi.
I have noticed there is no char voices really in my game. Like when im talking to item sellers or anything they dont talk at all (with sound) to me. Also the /emotes dont have any sound effects? is this me? or is this just how the game is? for example if i do /roar i dont hear any roar just see tha animation. I do hear all music and creature sounds. also cut scene voices. thanks for help.

I wouldn't like it at all when your character makes a "roar!" sound, it would probably scare the living hell out of a lot of people as well. But, that's just my thought.

nah, characters making roar sounds makes it more fun, doesnt seem to spoil the enjoyment on other games

I should imagine though when making the game somewhere along the line they must have had a discussion about this and decided against it.

Decisions like this are usually firm and fast, so I cant see them changing their minds and introducing it... though the game is still young and hope still exists.

Interestingly though, they do use voices in the video sequences.. this does make for much better viewing, and alot more than you get in other mmo's(or whatever)
