Default How can i find out what my mother board is?

Dad bought comp so dont know it. My com keeps freezing and i think might b to do with overheating so using this MBM program and asks me what board it is. How can i find out thx

If its "custom built" (not a large chain.) it should probably show the make and model quickly while starting up the computer.

This is called the POST screen.

CPU-Z (www.cpuid.com) will show the make and model of the board on one of its tabs.
