Default Cursor Flickers

Ingame My Cursor only appears when moving, and when it is there it flickers and has a weird indentation of a box around it

well thats wierd. I've never heard of somthing like that before, so wouldnt know how to fix it, but it sounds like prioity is being given to your operating system. In otherwords, the cursor your seeing is not the game cursor but is actually from outside the game.

Im not sure how to remedy this.

Is there any way to disable the GW cursor and just use the Windows Defult?

not that i know of, games almost always transpose thier cursor design on top of your windows cursor, this is why your cursor would still work even though all your seeing is it flicker with a box in the background.

Perhapes this idea will kick start a solution from someone else however....

Do a scan and post the log here. We'll take a look at it. Maybe you have something running here in the background that is not playing nice.

It's worth a look.

Otherwise, or in the meantime, refresh your video drivers to the latest official version available (not the betas).

You might want to check and see that your mouse pointer in the control panel is not set to an animated pointer. Mine is set to windows default. Also, you might want to disable "pointer trails" in the mouse pointer options.
