Angry Attribute points after leveling up does not show up !

As my title indicates, I have just recently leveled up to level 10, so far I have 45 attribute points spent on my character. I should have 50 I think.

The problem is that I did not get those 5 points (I think it's 5 points) and I have opened a support ticket with Arenanet but so far, I feel that they let me down.

Their 1st response was "Thank you for contacting Guild Wars support. We received your e-mail in regards to that potential bug you experienced while playing Guild Wars. In all cases of lost items/characters/experience we are unable to replace or restore these items, however ..."

My response was : "My problem stems from the fact that I was not given/awarded/assigned something that the game mechanics give (attribute points) when a trigger (leveling up) is reached".

Anyone else got a similar problem or possibly a suggestion. I mean, I'm not asking for a +2000 dmg sword that I apparently sold by accident or to change something on my character cause I wanna undo a decision I made.

I am asking for a correction to my attribute points based on the fact that after leveling up, you get points to spend on skills, and after starting over 3 characters and leading up to this, I feel like they are saying, we will not manage issues or bugs that are related to character and as such, every time you have a problem, just delete your character, and create a new one.

I am already tired of Pre-Searing,

I mean, after this problem, If I encounter it again. Do you really beleive that I will keep playing and say good things about the support for this game !

Do you think that if they would state clearly on the back or cover of the box, that there is no support for account characters and such. Just stadard tech help !

I know, I'm negative, it's such a great game (IMO), it's just that I'm really disapointed at the idea of starting over a 4th character.

regards

As for those of you interested, I was finishing a quest for Ranger Nente in Post Searing, which is the Melandru's pet quest. The one when he asks you to find one and give it up to him.

I did so, but after 5 more minutes of wandering around and exploring, I decided to go back to town. When I clicked on Ascalon in the map, I got the logon prompt, then I tried to login, and then err=7. I tried to re-login without closing Guild Wars, and same thing, err=7

I closed Guild Wars, and restarted it, and after logging in, I was brought back tho the last town/outpost I was in, and I had my pet (he was gone when I gave him to Nente), but I still had level 10 (the XP reward for the quest made me pass to lvl 10) and the experience points that I had before the crash. But I had no attribute points to spend. Stuck with 45, when I should of had 50.

Since I wanted to do all side quests, I figured I could give away my pet Wolf, and go tame a Melandru and give it to him but now I got burned, and so far, my only option is to delete my character cause I will have slightly less points than someone else with the same level.

If you're level 10, you should have 45 attribute points. You don't get any for level 1 since you start at level 1. Therefore, you've leveled up 9 times, hence 45 attribute points.

true
if you had any at level 1 you would have had 5 points to distribute at the very start (which i sure didnt have)

Well, I must say I'm quite happy knowing that I panicked too early !

Thanks guys for staying polite.

It would of been nice for the support staff tell me this instead of replying with an already made reply sorta.

Anyways, thanks again guys
