Exclamation strange video problems

ok i have a nvidia 6800 ultra and im getting some strange graphical errors
sometimes all the etextures turn black or just disappear other times i have colored streaks running across my screen and charcters seem to disapear or have missing textures. also when i minimize the game to the desktop its running in 4-bit which a NES can do better, so i was just wondering what i should do???



AMD 64 3400+
1 GB Ram
Nvidia 6800 ultra
windows xp pro sp2

Got an antivirus running? Turn it off.
Or else, what else do you have running? More info please. Lol.

Just out of curiousity, what board are you running? Is it NVIDIA4 by chance, I use this board and in SLI mode I had some similar issues. An updated SLI driver came out for the board a month or so ago.

Really though sounds like you have a corrupted driver, or a damaged video card =(. Is GW the only game that acts strange?

Ok i found the problem my computers fans where turned off and the machine was overheating
