Default My Friend needs HELP!

Basically, My friend has some issues with GW. We've attempted about 3 or more times on Nolani Academy mission. He always drops/exits gw with the following errors.

He doesn't know whats wrong, so he asked me to post here.. his specs are:
2.8 GHz
504 of RAM
Pentium 4
Windows Xp
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator.
Also: He had the problem before when he installed from the main site.
Now he reinstalled from his CD and it got worse. (The out of memory thing )
He also only has 3 files in his GUild Wars folder, which ur suppose to have 5(i have 5). Hes missing screens and arenanet.log

AND IT ONLY HAPPENS WITH GUILDWARS
AND STILL HAS 60 GIGS OF FREE SPACE ON HIS CPU

504 MB is a strange number to have, it is possible guild wars only runs in conventional multiples (128, 256, 512, 1024). So to get that he must have a very low value chip somewhere or a damaged memory chip that is way below what it should be (they should be within at least 5% of stated value i think)

504 isn't strange when you have onboard shared video. 512-504=8MB video memory.

Not sure about the original poster's problem, though.

On second thought, you may want to try upping your shared video memory to around 32MB, 16 even, and see if that helps.

8MB isn't much...

he needs to access his bios settings. usually when the computer boots up, it says "hold * key to access setup" where * varies depending on the motherboard/manufacturer.

he may not be able to increase the amount of memory to the onboard video, and I would guess that using that onboard chip is causing his problems. I don't believe he'll be able to play with 8mb of video memory, isn't a 32mb card the min?
