Potential Video Card fix BIOS-related
For people who are having problems with thier video cards, there is a feature in the BIOS which you might want to look into: the AGP Fast Write setting. After calling and talking with BFG about my problem:
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=18112 the tech support guy finally made me go into the BIOS and switch the AGP Fast Write from AUTO to DISABLE. It seems, at least with NVidia 6xxx series cards, a lot of problems will surface when Fast Write is enabled or set to auto. Disabling AGP Fast Write might remedy the problem. Hope this helps some of you out! |
