Default GUI issues.

I just formatted after having a spyware war. Making 2 partitions this time, 1 for windows and 1 for all my media and stuff. Well I use the download as you go option because I got the game from the site instead of the physical game. Well I played for a while last night and everything worked fine. But now Whenever I go to a area I get GUI issues, it starts out all funky and just all of a sudden gets better.

When mission starts and then after a little while.

Me trying to PVP.

Just went to town, and then I took another snapshot later, and the snap shot turned out black, but the gui went to normal.

Any help would be great.

Could you tell us the specs of your computer?

If it happens again you may have to forward those screenshots to ArenaNet support, and they'll get them sent to the QA (quality assurance) and Compatibility departments for examination.

I've got to admit, other people have had the same problem. It needs to be fixed.

Hmmm, that should be fine to run it. What Geforce drivers are you using for your Ti 4600?

Sigh, happened again, but minorly.

I can tell that it is going to happen because the loading screen is all wacked. Seems like when I print screen it takes a long time, then fixes it's self.

When you reformatted your system, what exactly did you do and how did you do it?

There could well be something still on your system if you have moved all your files back on to the system and brought it along for the ride.

With the drivers, take them back to an earlier version located on the www.guru3d.com website and use the driver cleaner in between the uninstall and reinstall to clean out any iffy files in the process.

Also, in the BIOS, reset all your BIOS settings to there defaults and then retest. This will help determine if there are any issues with the BIOS settings affecting performance. Hopefully, you should either have default or safety settings located in your BIOS. One thing to also do, when this has been switched is to turn off all the graphics options in the BIOS before you reboot.

Let us know how this lot goes. Try the BIOS options first.

the CPU speed is upped to 133mhz in the BIOS, had it like this for the longest time now. Also the onboard audio is disabled, also had this for a long time now.

I fdisk deleted and created a 10gig windows partition and the rest for media and games (first time I did this).

I will try out the early drivers.
