Exclamation Err 50

I've played Guild Wars since day 1 and never had to open any ports on my Linksys router. I hadn't played in a week and went to log on. I knew there were updates and I logged on, chose my character and then got ERR-50 try again later. No big deal. I try a few hours later and get the same message. I noticed it wasn't downloading the new patches (look for this!) I went and opened port 6112 udp/tcp and bang it downloaded and I could play. I believe this error may appear after an update if the port isn't opened. Every firewall/router is a little different, but basically they all do the same thing. Make sure you've got port 80 and 6112 open and that your pc I.P. address is allowed to use those ports!
