Default Do i have a 3dMark03 Problem?

This is my comp:

AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 2.4ghz w/HT
1 GB Ram
DVD Burner
128mB NVIDIA 6800GT (Unlocked pipes to make it a GT)
160GB Hard drive

I get a 9407 in 3dMark03, but i look at the thread "What is your 3dMark03 score" and i see that i should be getting 11k. Am i wrong?

As it's actually a vanilla 6800 (unlocking pipes doesn't make that huge a difference), I'd say that score is fine for the system you have.

I had a 8665, unlocked pipes, and now a 9407. Im my book, that is great. Also, what is the average temp for a regular comp with my parts? Mine runs at 79F idle, 83F browing the net, and 89F in Guild wars, 90F in Prince of Persia. Am i in for some serious overclocking considering how cool it runs?

it all comes down to how much *headroom* the individual chip you got has

it might be right at its maximum speed now or it might have a lot in reserve

your speed may vary

dont overclock if the warranty means anything to you
