Default Video card

Hey guys, I don't know much about this kind of stuff, so I'm just gonna throw a couple questions out there. I guess my grahpics card is a AMD athlon(tm)XP 2300+, I'm assuming this anyways, by what it says in my system properties. Is that very good. Should my(and pretty much every else's for that matter)amour be incredibly shiney? Also, could a video card like this cause lag? The whole of my specs are:
eMachines
t2341
AMD athlon(tm)XP 2300+
2.00 GHz
736 MB of Ram

There is a tiny bit of lag in my game, nothing to bad, but it could be better. And the shiney amour is just annoying.(it's like really shiney relflective silverish white kinda color.) Thanks guys.

Your graphics card is awful. If you want to upgrade, you'll have much much better performance and quality.

You almost certainly have a free PCI slot where you could stick a better video card. A Geforce FX5200 for $60 would be good:

On the off chance that you have an AGP slot, you could drastically upgrade your graphics quality and speed by getting a Radeon 9600XT, for less than $80:

if you want to spend a bit more, id Recommend at least a Radeon 9800 pro - i can run the game on maxed out setttings with that thing =)

Just not worth the price. When it comes to budget cards it's between the 9600/9600XT for high performance at low-low cost and the 6600/6600GT for higher performance at lowish cost.

But is this a result of my video card:

And I would gladly go buy a new graphics card, but I'm dead broke.

Thats is the worst. Although my friend has one and it ran alot better. and i mean a lot better when he updated the drivers. Go to the main site for your video card.

that geforce fx5200 is the way....i put mine in yesterday......AWESOME....its budget but it werks for me.....another thing you may want to do in addition to upating your drivers is to clean up the rest of your computer and by that i mean 1) clean up all that stuff youve unwittingly downloaded from kazaa...run your anti virus and anti spyware programs, defrag yer HD and 2) open yer case and blow out all the dust on your heat sinks, fans, cables etc....

But do you think you could tell me if it's a video card problem. Something I thought about is that maybe it's all starter amour that looks like that?
