I just reformatted (about damn time) and changed drivers, increased my mark by +43 from 7679 to 7722. I guess all that clutter on my HDD really did make a slight difference.

Nice! That is a pretty big difference in just a format. Once this warranty runs out ill have to open it up and see how far I can push my 6800.

Just performed a small overclock on my Chaintech Geforce 6600GT 128mB AGP from 500/900 to 550/1000, and got a shiny new 3D Mark 03 score to show off.
Almost as high as Serafita's, but that'll only be because of my processor. Either way, I'm highly proud.

All non overclocked, test ran at about 90F the whole time. Am i in for some serious overclocking considering the cooling situation of my comp?

Yep, I can get that score too when I run 3DMark03 in 800x600 or lower. Nice job of covering it up with the result window Or are you running SLI?

I got 11,228 with my 6800gt on a athlon64 3400 so that has to be like Principa Discordia said.

I have to say that looks quite suspicious, there is noway in the world you would get that score with your setup...Photocropped methinks or SLi
My set up consists of an A64 3200 @ stock, 1gb of ram and a 6800gt, yes a 6800gt, and i can only manage 11500 or there abouts..?
Ramus, your score seems a touch low for a 6800nu, I had one and was getting about 9500 in 03, but i was using an a64.....

If he'd post a screenshot of the results mini-window not covering the options window then my mind would be at ease and I would withdraw my accusation. Until then, sorry, but he's covering the settings because he's running it in a lower resolution than default 1024x768. A simple way to cheat the test.

This is my score. No overclocking, all stock system fans and cpu fans.
XP SP2
Asus A7N8X Deluxe
Athlon 2400+ = 2ghz
1.5gig ram. (Will have to check on DDR spec)
Asus X800pro 256mb
DX 9.0c
This was just running the normal 3DMark 03 with standard settings.
1st pic shows the score and 2nd pic shows the normal setup. I don't have the paid for version.

Well said Principa, sad thing is though, why make it up?, benchmarks are fun, but it doesn't really mean anything....
My vote goes to sli, no photchopped, no sli....perhaps we should turn this into a poll
Dirkiess, that's a dam good score, now try some overclocking, go on you know you want to.........

Why make it up? Because some people are simply pathetic and crave attention to make their internet penis feel bigger. Seriously, I deal with this crap on a daily basis.

It's absolutely possible that it's SLi, and frankly, I'd prefer that it was as I do not appreciate liars. He has the chance to prove it, and I hope he does, but as the screenshot stands there's zero reason for the results window to be there as it appears some distance away.

Yeah, I never understand why people have to cover things up. This is a lot of fun, and an interesting way to see what peoples configs are capable of. But as you say, not the true way to see what a machine is capable of. Gaming FPS I always think is a true test of overall performance.
I was kinda surprised when I saw my score as oppossed to some of the other specs here, especially with AMD 64 chips and 6600gt and 6800gt cards running. Even the Intel spec machine, as I always thought 3dmark was coded more for Intel.
This is one of the best and most stable systems I've ever had too.
I may go back through GPU drivers as well, and see if there is any change in score on driver releases.
As for OC, there are a few things I will test out. Anyone know where there is a site that gives good Latency details for DDR modules. Want to make sure I get some good details before I mess with that as my machine is running fine at the moment.
