Default TS Servers - are there any free ones out there?
Have no idea about this, but are there any free TS servers out there or do all of them require you to pay for their servers - I guess if you really wanted to you could just run a TS server off your own machine, but I'd prefer to create a new channel on a remote dedicated server. Anyone know of any free TS servers (IF they exist)?

(I actually do know of a local one that's free but I don't think it'll allow traffic from outside Australia - not sure though). As you can tell I'm pretty clueless when it comes to this...

You can host your own teamspeak server on your computer for a maximum of 100 people without needing to pay if what you're hosting it for doesn't make any money. But since it seems like you don't want to leave a computer on 24/7, Try looking in the teamspeak server list. There are many which will give you a free channel.
